Cranio-sacral Therapy works by helping the bodys natural healing mechanisms release the negative effects of stress on the central-nervous system. This is accomplished by utilizing a physiological body system called the cranio-sacral system, which helps maintain the the environment in which the central-nervous system functions. It consists of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord, extending from the bones of the head, face and mouth (otherwise known as the cranium) down to the tailbone area (otherwise known as the sacrum). The role of this system in the development and performance of the brain and spinal cord is so vital that an imbalance of dysfunction in this system can cause sensory, motor and/or neurological disabilities. In adults, it is particularly beneficial to those with head, neck, or back injuries, as well as with stress-related dysfunction. Children, infants and new-borns with early traumas (including Birth Trauma) can benefit from the timely identification and release of restrictions in the craniosacral system, thereby preventing future difficulties such as learning disabilities or hyperactivity

The Osteopath is extremely friendlyPaul, Ireland, 16 08 23

I went to NCR Osteopath on the basis of a referral from a friend. I had pain in my upper back and I had been to two separate physio therapists who did not give me relief. After just two visits to this clinic I woke up feeling a significant reduction in pain. I continued the exercises that were prescribed to me and I'm over a year pain free now. Sacha is extremely friendly and if you nervous about going he will make you calm with his energy in seconds. I can not recommend him enough, if your suffering any injury / pain then don't hesitate to make a booking.

I would highly recommend Will to anyone in pain and see the treatment throughAnn, Ireland, 27 11 21

Our family and extended family have been to Will for many years with back and joint problems and he has always given us such relief. I have been attending him lately with severe neck and shoulder pain and Will has done dry needling, which is sore at the time but the relief afterwards is just fantastic. I would highly recommend Will to anyone in pain and see the treatment through.

Be Pain Free - Osteopathic Clinic in Ireland

Be Pain Free

Church Hill, Navan
My name is John and I trained for five years at the world-famous British School of Osteopathy where I was awarded a Master’s in Osteopathy. I gained a wealth of experience treating sports people with muscle strains, office and construction workers with neck and back pain and the elderly with age-related conditions. I hold a diploma in sports massage from the London School of sports massage which I include in my treatments along with dry needling if necessary. I also like to include a special relaxation technique during my treatments which helps people destress and improve their mood. Treating sports people comes naturally to me. Having come from a strong sporting background I represented Longford in GAA at county level from schoolboy up to the inter-county senior panel. I also played Basketball at the National league level. I like to relax by meditating and like to practice what I preach by keeping a good diet and maintaining fitness levels through walking and swimming. I am passionate about my profession and treat a range of issues including back pain, neck pain, shoulder hip and knee pain. Helping patients return to what they enjoy doing is my goal and I thoroughly enjoy the process of guiding and advising each patient along their journey to recovery. Osteopathy is the gold standard when it comes to relieving pain.I look forward to seeing you at our clinic soon. “ My aim is to help relieve your aches and pains through a caring and supportive approach

Get Back Health Chiropractic - Chiropractic Clinic in Ireland

Get Back Health Chiropractic

9 Herbert Street, Dublin, Dublin 2
We are a chiropractic clinic located near the city center. We've been serving the people of Dublin with optimal chiropractic care for a number of years, but are always happy to see new patients. We offer a range of techniques if you happen to already be familiar with one or have particular concerns regarding chiropractic adjustments, but our clinicians are also adept at determining the most appropriate technique for patients who have no preference.
CST - Craniosacral Therapy
Cranialsacral therapy can be divided into two separate aspects: Sacral Occipital Technique (SOT), and cranial adjustments. SOT is a means of adjusting the spine primarily through traditional means in the neck and with curved padded blocks across the pelvis to allow gravity and leverage to make the adjustment. Cranial adjustments improve the motion of the bones of the skull and is performed with the same principles, except by hand, in order to relieve pressure on portions of the brain, cranial nerves, and spinal cord. Both are closely related and deal very heavily with nerves and overall health and wellness.
Deep Tissue Massage €40 - €65
Deep tissue massage is a classic means of getting deep into tense muscle tissue to work out tension and allow the worked muscle groups return toward normalcy.
Back Pain Treatment
Chiropractic is very nerve focused. Nerves control every part of the body and that includes muscles. Often tight muscles in the back are the result of irritated (rather than pinched) nerves sending uncontrolled signals to nearby muscles to tighten up. By restoring nerve function, the muscles can finally get a chance to relax.
