Composite restorations of the lower arch to cover the loss of inter dental papilla due to aggressive juvenile periodontal disease and adult orthodontics. I had the unsightly 'black triangles' of the lower anterior teeth. I have always attempted to be scrupulous with cleaning every three-months, brushing 2-3 day, flossing etc but nevertheless these horrible gaps appeared. I tried gingival grafting, a gingival mask( horrible experience, lasted one evening). I wanted a treatment that was less destructive to the surrounding teeth, thus I did not wish to have veneers on these teeth. I had numerous composite restorations carried out by John Swarbirgg. Other dentists at other practices that I consulted with would not undertake these filling ( I think it was due to their lack of knowledge of the Clarke Matrix System that is used by John).
I am very happy with the results. The interior of the practice is very nice, but that was not really an important factor in deciding to have the treatment; it was the availability of the Clarke Matrix system for the restoration of the unsightly black spaces.
