Dr. Priyal Shah has been practising dentistry for over 20 years now and has been with Broadway for over a decade now. Dr. Priyal did her BDS in 2001 from Pune University, India where she achieved first class each academic year. She started her practice in a private dental clinic in Mumbai before moving to the UK in 2005. Dr. Priyal firmly believes in building a strong patient-doctor
relationship and has calming chair side manners that make patients feel at ease. Not surprisingly she holds a reputation for being scrupulous and conscientious with her patients and the wonderful testimonials written by her patients reflect on her work and patient care. She aims to make her patients dentally fit with emphasis on prevention and minimally invasive dentistry. Her professional work and continuing patient care was acknowledged when she received the Best Female Dentist award for London region in 2017 from the Association of Indian Dentists UK (AIDUK).
Over the years of clinical practice, her keen interest in restoring patients’ teeth to their best health has led her to pursue MSc. in Restorative Dental Practice at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute (University College London). Eastman is the largest postgraduate dental school in Europe and has the reputation of one of the world’s leading academic centres for dentistry. Dr. Shah successfully completed her MSc. in December 2017.
Dr. Shah takes keen interest in treating teeth wear cases and full mouth rehabilitation work. She has done many cases involving composite bonding, veneers and high levels of aesthetic work to improve smiles. She now provides Invisalign to patients that are not happy with the looks of their teeth, followed by teeth whitening and composite bonding that has helped patients enhance their smile and confidence.
When not practising dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her two lovely twin daughters, travelling, photography, playing tennis and meditation.
