With the All On 4 dental implant procedure, the posterior implants are tilted 45° towards the rear of the mouth and placed into the anterior maxilla, a region of the jaw with higher bone density.

Laser ablation has been recognized recently as the most effective, pleasant and reliable technique. It has the advantage of easy handling, short treatment time, hemostasis, decontamination, and sterilization effect.

People with severe or advanced disease around their gums and the tissues that support their teeth are usually candidates for periodontal surgery.

If you have gum disease, your symptoms might include:

• deep pockets that form between your gums and teeth

• pain when chewing
• bad breath
• gums that recede or pull away from your teeth

With this common procedure, surgeons make small cuts in your gum and lift a section of tissue back. Then, they remove tartar and bacteria from your tooth and from under your gums. The gums are sutured back, so the tissue fits firmly around your teeth. Once you heal, it will be easier to clean areas on your teeth and gums.

The ability to cover denuded root surfaces has been a long-time goal of periodontists. Procedures available today allow us to achieve root coverage predictably. While marginal tissue recession seldom results in tooth loss, it is often associated with root sensitivity, predisposes to root caries, may cause frenal involvement with marginal tissue irritation and are perceived as aesthetic impairment by our patients. It is important that our patients are aware that these surgical periodontal plastic procedures are both available and predictable.

Indications:

1. Inadequate residual bone height (<10 mm of vertical bone height)

2. Atrophic posterior maxillary alveolus.

Contraindications:

1. Acute active sinus infection

2. Recurrent chronic sinusitis

3. Severe allergic rhinitis

4. Neoplasm or large cyst of the sinus

5. Previous sinus surgery like the Caldwell–Luc operation

6. History of radiation therapy to maxilla

7. Presence of Underwood's septa/severe sinus floor convolutions

8. Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus

9. Alcoholic and heavy smoker

10. Psychosis.
