Who is Oktay Aykut Engür?
He was born in Ordu in 1981. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Ordu. In 1998, he started to study dentistry at Ege University Faculty of Dentistry. He graduated in 2004 and served military service in Etimesgut Ankara the same year. Later in 2005, he opened his own clinic in Bitlis Ahlat. After working in his own clinic until 2008, he worked in Bitlis Ahlat State Hospital for 6 months and resigned from the State Hospital in July 2008. In August 2008, he started working in a private clinic in Antalya. He has been working as a dentist in his own clinic since May 2009. Oktay Aykut Engür, who loves to practice dentistry, closely follows new books, scientific articles, magazines, national, international congresses and seminars in this field. He was a member of Antalya Chamber of Dentists from 2014 to 2020. He served as the Chairman of the Community Oral and Dental Health Commission and the board of directors responsible for the student branch of Antalya Akdeniz University Faculty of Dentistry. He served as the Social Commission President between 2018-2020. During his duty in the community oral health commission, he provided oral and dental health training to students with volunteer dentists for 5 years in 55 village schools in Antalya Kaş district. During the Children's Festival held in Antalya Cam Piramit by TRT, 25 thousand children underwent dental examination and education. In 2018, he worked as the coordinator of the "Healthy teeth happy smiles project" which was carried out together with the Antalya Provincial Directorate of National Education and the Chamber of Dentists. Together with 53 dentists, he gave screening and training to 14 thousand students in 110 primary schools. Aiming to give a healthy smile to everyone, Oktay Aykut Engür believes that doing business with love will bring success. He is married and has two children.
