Implant Dentist Consultation Bucharest

Having experienced the care of dentists on three continents, I can honestly say that Cosmin is the most knowledgeable, skillful and caring dentist I have ever met. More than that, I will always be eternally grateful to him for saving me from what would have been costly, painful and unnecessary dental work. As a result of an accident over 30 years ago, through which my front teeth were severely damaged, I have gone through a number of sets of crowns and eventually had implants put in. During the time I was living in Bucharest, I began experiencing discomfort around my implants and so I sought dental care. I did not visit Cosmin at first, but instead a large, flashy clinic in Bucharest marketing itself to “elite” patients. I was devastated during my meeting with a chief dentist there, who recommended expensive and quite drastic periodontal surgery with the added caveat that I could expect all my teeth to fall out in short order if I failed to go through with his suggested treatment. I was terrified. Perhaps more important, something just did not feel right about this. So I ended up in Cosmin’s office for a second opinion. I was careful not to mention my other dental visit, to make sure I received his unbiased evaluation. Not only did Cosmin fail to mention anything about periodontal surgery during my visit, but he quickly pinpointed a problem with the implants that had been installed in the U.S. (by a dentist I had respected and trusted for many years at that time). But the special x-ray was taken at Bucharest British Dental Place clearly showed that my American dentist had made a mistake. Within a matter of weeks, Cosmin had located hard to source parts to fix my American implants and designed a new set of crowns that far surpassed the look of my old ones. I remain in awe not only of Cosmin’s perfectionistic skill but his knowledge and compassion as well. The attention I received from both Cosmin and Samantha was simply light years ahead of anything I had ever experienced in a dental office. And ironically, at a tiny fraction of the fees, I have paid to other dentists around the world, particularly in the U.S. Though I have left Romania and have found a dentist I highly respect here in Costa Rica, I should conclude by mentioning that even my Costa Rican dentist is constantly offering kudos to Cosmin for his aesthetic genius – the results of which make me happy every time I look in the mirror or see my smile in a photograph.

1st lot of treatment went well 2.5 hr on the chair the dentist was great. I had very little pain and four implants were fitted. The day after they were some swelling and discomfort, but not as much as I was expecting and after two days the swelling went down and the pain almost gone with a little left from the stitches. Last day which is 5 days later temporary dentures were fitted and now I am on my home back in 4 months for the final fitting. 5 star service and very understanding staff who went of their way to make sure everything was right for me and the price was very competitive not the cheapest but far from the dearest, got lucky when I chose this dentist.

We found this clinic whilst on holiday in Bucharest and after sending Mihai the clinic Manager an email he called us straight back to arrange a consultation for the next day. On that 1st visit we were able to meet all the dental specialists who were extremely professional and friendly and spoke very good English. The clinic was very modern and inviting with all the latest technology. We left feeling very positive about what we had seen and the prospect of coming back in the future didn't seem as daunting. Soon after returning to the UK we received our treatment plans via email offering flexible options at great prices. After some excellent and always prompt communication we decided what work to have done, my wife needed to replace her front veneers which would be done after whitening for the best results. I also had a crown with root canal treatment. Mihai answered all our questions and explained It would take 2 short visits a week apart. Our package included hotel accommodation pick up from the airport and transfer to and from the clinic as required and this helped to make the whole experience much less stressful. Now home my wife could not be happier with her new teeth and can't stop smiling! I was so impressed I have already booked to go back in September for 2 implants and sinus lift treatment! For anybody still not sure about dental tourism all I can say is give this clinic a try they are not the most established clinic in Bucharest but you are guaranteed to receive a much more personal experience because of this!
