What are Metal Braces?

Metal Braces are orthodontic appliances made of stainless steel or titanium. They are suitable for patients of all ages. They are the cheapest among braces and are considered the most effective. The orthodontist will polish the teeth and paint the front surfaces with glue. The metal brackets will be pasted onto the teeth. A curing light is focused to fix the brackets. The orthodontist will thread a wire through the brackets and then place wires around the brackets to hold them in place.  

What care is required after fitting Metal Braces?

Patients should practice proper dental hygiene and brush and floss their teeth correctly. Patients should use fluoride toothpaste. They should not eat hard or chewy food items that will damage their braces. Patients should attend their orthodontist appointments to ensure the correct fianl position of the teeth is achieved.

The clinic is very clean and equipped with plenty of modern diagnostic equipment, personnel are nice and polite. Of course all this doesn't pile up for cheap prices. Last summer I had a few treatments performed by Doctor Roxana Conduraru. She's very caring, full of patience, accommodating in everything and helpful in each and every step, including other aspects like helping out with the invoices and fixing the appointments. Her character makes sitting on the dentist chair less frightening and more tolerable if not enjoyable.
