My teeth were in horrible shape to the point I was to embarrassed to go to a dentist and knew I couldn't afford what I needed in the US. After searching, calling, and comparing dentists I chose this clinic.

I ended up having to get 2 root canals and 16 caps. The pain was MINIMAL and the results exceeded my expectations! Dr. Baker and the team were very open.

I found Dr. Baker through a friend referral. I needed extensive work involving implants bone grafting and a bridge. The uninsured portion of the estimate in the United States was $14,000. Dr Baker was less than half of that. After the initial bone grafting and implants, I had a check-up with my regular United States dentist and she confirmed that Dr Baker did a great job. Now the work is complete and I am very happy with the end result.

Dr. Shirley Baker and her staff definitely make the best of a bad situation. After a thorough exam of my teeth, gums and bone structure, Dr. Baker discussed treatment options and answered all of my questions. I am thankful that I received a good price from Dr. Baker's office before I had a crown and bridge done.

I have been going to Dr. Shirley Baker’s dental office for years. Absolutely love her and she has the best staff. The Hygienists are always kind and very professional. They have also renovated and expanded the office. Provided you need to see a Dentist, I would highly recommend Dr. Baker's office. Excellent overall experience and also, It's nice to have a Dentist who you can trust to do excellent quality work.

Dr. Baker was a blessing on what's been a tough journey for me. Unfortunately, I required extractions and bone grafts, but as someone who's been through it, I can say she's precise and skilled when it comes to surgical. I had zero infection and zero discomfort, though I do have a higher threshold for pain than most, but was able to recover with no antibiotics (I have extreme sensitivity to most pharma, so I have a stronger immune system because I've rarely consumed it). Though I would have hoped for a different outcome for myself, and Dr. Baker showed understanding and compassion towards me, in addition to actually helping me with a solution that I could afford so I can smile again. I made 3 trips from Los Angeles, and still saved thousands. She'll be my go-to gal now. I've found the drive's pit-stops of endless beautiful beaches to be better than any medicine!

I chose Dr. Baker because she was one of only a handful with several high reviews. My experience with her was in line with what I researched. Many of her patients come from near and far, as I met folks from San Diego, Washington, Oregon, and Nevada. The clinic is pristine...very clean. Victor, the man who took my calls and coordinated my visits, reminds me of a skilled project manager. Fielding and coordinating patient visits from another country is an added stress in customer service, but he handles it and coordinates it well! I chose to park at the border and walk across. Manny, the cab driver Dr. Baker sends, was there to greet me at the border every time to take me to the clinic and then back to the border. Manny was really cool, too!

Highly recommend Dr. Baker - her staff was excellent and met all our expectations in expertise. We received honest evaluations of our dental health with reasonable plans for work to be done, our time spent there was efficient and we were especially pleased with the friendliness and "above and beyond" hospitality. We had excellent results in the work done (each of us had 3 filing replacements with composites and 1 crown - I had my teeth whitened as well) and will recommend Dr. Baker to all. The total for both of us was $2300 - saving us approximately $3000 even after travel from Alaska and all that includes.

Dr. Baker Is an A++ dentist. My husband comes from three generations of Dentists and is a perfectionist by dental upbringing. The prices are 1/3-1/4 of what $U.S. Dentists charge. Dr. Baker is a cosmetic aesthetic artist. Thus far, I have had (10) zirconium crowns (to prevent future teeth grinding), a root canal ( pain-free & diligent , thanks to her in-house colleague Dr. Ramos), thorough cleanings, multiple fillings, exams and getting ready to embark for (2) more crowns and (3) veneers so that my teeth are sized/shaped more proportionally. Dr. Baker has every detail covered logistically when crossing over the border on foot, and meeting "Manny" a very pleasant & safe taxi driver to being dropped back off to cross back to the US via the "pedestrian lane." Dr. Baker's office can also upon request provide a medical verification/treatment form speeding up your wait via car in the auto traffic lanes back into the US if so desired. I recommend Dr. Baker to everyone I know and feel very fortunate to have been referred to her initially by a close friend, Roxy :-) !!!!

Yes, very pleased with the implantologist that Dr Baker referred me to, Dr Cesena, who was excellent and professional in every respect. The cost was as quoted.

Crown Replacement

Dr. Baker was so kind and generous with her time. I went in on my first appointment to get my old crowns removed and take the impressions. A few days later, when the new crowns were made, she showed them to me and we weren't happy with the length of a couple of the crowns. She sent them back to that lab that night to get them fixed and stayed past her closing time to finish my appointment since she knew we had to drive back home, which is a 6 hour drive. I was impressed with the overall service and was met with such kindness, that I am sure to go back.

two extractions, cleaning

I am pleased with the procedures, but the price via the internet was much less for the "normal" extraction. I understand that the extraction of the broken tooth required "surgical extraction", and that I would pay more for it, but I did not expect the same price for the normal extraction just because an oral surgeon was doing the procedure.

Dr. Baker was slightly higher priced than some other local clinics, but she and her lovely staff provide excellent service. I had three crowns and a cleaning.

This is my first time with a female dentist. I found her touch lighter and gentler than male dentists. The office was clean and attractive.

Quality service. No any problem with treatment so far. Great help with transportation from airport to clinic.

I am very pleased. The clinic was very clean, the staff all spoke English, and I was picked up at the border and delivered back when we were done. Very friendly staff.

Cleanings & other

Small but clean and friendly office. Excellent experience - price was less than quoted and we would go back to her. We arrived planning to spend about $1500 for our regular maintenance for twp of us, plus a root canal and crown for my husband. Turned out that hubby didn't need a root canal (he was told to stop scrubbing his gums so hard with the Sonicare toothbrush) instead they applied a tooth-coloured sealer along the gum line at the sore tooth. For the 2 of us we paid less than $300 for cleanings, X-rays, exams and his treatment.
