First please note that I am a chicken when it comes to the dental chair and I have an easy gag reflex, but I felt comfortable the entire time. I had a root canal done starting in January for the root removal then once it was all healed I came back this month (July) for the rest. All the staff is kind and attentive and I recommend seeing Dr. Funes for all types of dental work. PS. I traveled from upstate NY on the recommendation of a friend and I would do it again. This is one dental chair I do not fear.

This is the first time I’ve received dental care out of the country and I’m never using US dental again. My dentist told me I needed two replacement root canals and two crows for $6500. I was quoted $1600 from Marietta, but when I arrived and the two lovely women dentists who attended me said that was inaccurate and I only needed one crown. so from $6500 to $450. Huge difference. Dental departures, who I went through, misinformed me that they have pickups from the San Diego airport (they do but only for services over $3,000). Marietta still honoured this and paid for my Uber/taxi both to and from the airport. They are committed to making it right. I felt cared for and attended to. I came in on a Wednesday and had a new crown on Friday. Now, to be fair, there was a rather long wait for the crown to get to the lab on Friday - but Mexican time is different than US time, so bring a book and a spacious schedule. Took me long to find the right dentist after having a bad experience years back and a lot of bad dental work done. I needed implants and to repair old root canals, finally, a family member told me about M&R I couldn’t be more happy with the results. Office is very clean staff is very nice and helpful fast response and easy to communicate.
