I went in for a root canal on August 30th and for the crown one week later on September 6th. Dr Escalante is the best dentist I've ever had and I've seen him several times over the last twenty years or more. He can do an almost perfectly painless root canal in one hour and install the crown a few days later in usually less time, and all for a *much* lower price than one would pay just for the insurance deductible in the US, even less if you pay in cash He gets a rating of 200% from me!
Clinica Dental is very pleasant, with an air-conditioned waiting room, an extra sitting room full of historical pictures of Tijuana and a friendly, professional and bilingual staff. It is a $5 taxi ride from the border or at most a one-hour walk in nice weather. They are always punctual and I've never had to wait more than a short time if others are ahead of me. There are five chairs in the office but not often all in use at the same time.
I have been to some of the other many dentists in Tijuana but once I discovered Clinica Dental it became the only one I go to.
