I would not hesitate to recommend this clinic and this dentist to othersMary, US, 22 03 17

Very knowledgeable, fairly fluent English, explained things well and put me at ease - not easy when dealing with past dental traumas! Had chairside assistant who spoke American English and could translate anything that was not quite clear, or that he wanted to make sure was perfectly translated. Pain medication injections were painless, procedure was done quickly and explanation of exactly what was being done was given as it was carried out. Sterility was followed and filtered water was used. Price for implant was $1,600, all inclusive. Was originally going to also have 2 implants in back molars, but he discovered a jaw fracture where I'd recently had a very traumatic extraction in USA, and those implants cannot be done until it is fully healed. Errs on the side of caution for best outcome - I like that! I interviewed a couple of the top recommended clinics and chose this clinic on the basis of the education and experience of the dentist. The office was clean. They followed the proper procedures to maintain sterility of instruments and used filtered water. The office and chair-side staff spoke mostly fluent English, and Dr Victor was quite fluent, but not afraid to ask his American English speaking assistant to translate if he wanted to make sure I understood something more completely. I am an RN and understand more of the procedures that need to be followed than someone not involved in healthcare. I would not hesitate to recommend this clinic and this dentist to others.

Periodontitis Treatment
Since when have not been to the dentist?THE MOUTH BODY CONECCTIONAmerican Academy of Periodontology launched an effort to educate the public about new findings which support what dental professionals had long suspected: Infections in the mouth can play havoc elsewhere in the body. For a long time it was thought that bacteria was the factor that linked periodontal disease to other infections in the body, however, new research demonstrates that inflammation may link periodontal disease to other chronic conditions.Research has shown, and experts agree, that there is an association between periodontal diseases and other chronic inflammatory conditions, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease and Alzheimer’s disease. Therefore, treating inflammation may not only help manage periodontal diseases but may also help with the management of other chronic inflammatory conditions. When an inflammatory condition is suspected or diagnosed, it is important to consult with both a general physician and a dental health professional, such as periodontics. Sometimes the only way to detect periodontal diseases is through a periodontal evaluation. A periodontal evaluation may be especially important if you: Have a high risk for periodontal diseases. Take the AAP risk assessment test.Have heart disease, diabetes, respiratory disease or osteoporosis, or are thinking of becoming pregnant.Have a family member with periodontal disease. Research suggests that the bacteria that cause periodontal disease can pass through saliva. This means the common contact of saliva in families puts children and couples at risk for contracting the periodontal disease of another family member.Have a sore or irritation in your mouth that does not get better within two weeks.Gum Disease and Diabetes; People with diabetes are more likely to have periodontal disease than people without diabetes, probably because diabetics are more susceptible to contracting in

Dental Implants
Our Implants treatment includes the  implant placement , temporary crown, final crown, core, buildups & abutments. A dental implant is an artificial tooth root that a periodontist places into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth or bridge. Dental implants are an ideal option for people in good general oral health who have lost a tooth or teeth due to periodontal disease, an injury, or some other reason. While high-tech in nature, dental implants are actually more tooth-saving than traditional bridgework, since implants do not rely on neighboring teeth for support. Dental implants are so natural-looking and feeling, you may forget you ever lost a tooth. You know that your confidence about your teeth affects how you feel about yourself, both personally and professionally. Perhaps you hide your smile because of spaces from missing teeth. Maybe your dentures dont feel secure. Perhaps you have difficulty chewing. If you are missing one or more teeth and would like to smile, speak and eat again with comfort and confidence, there is good news! Dental implants are teeth that can look and feel just like your own! Under proper conditions, such as placement by a periodontist and diligent patient maintenance, implants can last a lifetime. Long-term studies continue to show improving success rates for implants. What Dental Implants Can Do?Replace one or more teeth without affecting bordering teeth. Support a bridge and eliminate the need for a removable partial denture. Provide support for a denture, making it more secure and comfortable.

They were easy to find and everyone was very friendly and knowledgeableElizabeth, US, 13 03 18

We had X-rays, check-up and cleaning for 602 pesos or $32.15, they take Visa and Mastercard. They were easy to find and everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. The X-Ray equipment was the one that circles your head, everything is done computerized and the cleaning was the best I've ever had. A lady that had been going there for a year, who was a retired Oral Hygienist in the US, said that it was the best dentist she had ever gone to or worked for. She said they use water from the US, so nothing to worry about. Prices were so much less than in the US.

Periodontitis Treatment
When gingivitis is not treated, it can advance to “periodontitis” (which means “inflammation around the tooth”). In periodontitis, gums pull away from the teeth and form spaces (called “pockets”) that become infected. The body’s immune system fights the bacteria as the plaque spreads and grows below the gum line. Bacterial toxins and the body’s natural response to infection start to break down the bone and connective tissue that hold teeth in place. If not treated, the bones, gums, and tissue that support the teeth are destroyed. The teeth may eventually become loose and have to be removed.

Periodontitis Treatment from $150
Periodontic treatment If you have been told you have periodontal (gum) disease, youre not alone. Many adults in the U.S. currently have some form of the disease. Periodontal diseases range from simple gum inflammation to serious disease that results in major damage to the soft tissue and bone that support the teeth. In the worst cases, teeth are lost. Whether your gum disease is stopped, slowed, or gets worse depends a great deal on how well you care for your teeth and gums every day, from this point forward What causes gum disease? Our mouths are full of bacteria. These bacteria, along with mucus and other particles, constantly form a sticky, colorless "plaque" on teeth. Brushing and flossing help get rid of plaque. Plaque that is not removed can harden and form "tartar" that brushing doesnt clean. Only a professional cleaning by a dentist or dental hygienist can remove tartar. Gingivitis The longer plaque and tartar are on teeth, the more harmful they become. The bacteria cause inflammation of the gums that is called "gingivitis." In gingivitis, the gums become red, swollen and can bleed easily. Gingivitis is a mild form of gum disease that can usually be reversed with daily brushing and flossing, and regular cleaning by a dentist or dental hygienist. This form of gum disease does not include any loss of bone and tissue that hold teeth in place. Periodontitis When gingivitis is not treated, it can advance to "periodontitis" (which means "inflammation around the tooth.") In periodontitis, gums pull away from the teeth and form spaces (called "pockets") that become infected. The bodys immune system fights the bacteria as the plaque spreads and grows below the gum line. Bacterial toxins and the bodys natural response to infection start to break down the bone and connective tissue that hold teeth in place. Dental Implants from $800
Dental implants are artificial tooth roots used to support a restoration for a missing tooth or teeth, helping to stop or prevent jaw bone loss. The dental implant procedure is categorized as a form of prosthetic (artificial replacement) dentistry, but also is considered a form of cosmetic dentistry. People who have lost teeth might feel too self-conscious to smile or talk. Additionally, biting irregularities caused by tooth loss can have a negative effect on eating habits, leading to secondary health problems like malnutrition. By replacing missing tooth roots, dental implants provide people with the strength and stability required to eat all the foods they love, without struggling to chew. Additionally, dental implants stimulate and maintain jaw bone, preventing bone loss and helping to maintain facial features.

Very friendlyJack, Tucson, 25 06 15

Excellent. The only place in Nogales Sonora that offers Lava crowns which exceed all other types in looking like real teeth. Received three crowns and a bridge and was very satisfied. Nice people and very friendly. Overall experience was very good. Before I came here, I visited two other Nogales dentists, one of which was more interested in extracting as much money as they could from me for unnecessary treatments. These dentists are very honest and straightforward. I trust them.
