They should soak the aligner in a clear anti-bacterial soap or denture cleaner when they take them off to keep them clean. They should brush and floss their teeth before wearing Invisalign. They should wear the aligner for at least 22 hours in a day for the best effect.

I was happy with that because I didn’t want to deal with metal braces as an adult. It was way less of a hassle than I expected. The nice thing was that no one could really tell I was wearing them. After about 14 months, my teeth are straight and I actually like my smile now. It was totally worth it.
