I have had the most fantastic treatment, start to finishIgnatiya, UK, 05 08 24

I have had the most fantastic treatment, start to finish - the whole team is absolutely incredible - gentle, understanding, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Travelling to Bulgaria from the UK in desperate need of serious dental treatment - root canal, couple of crowns, multiple fillings that needed replacing, composite bonding on the top front four teeth (due to microdontia - I am 30 years of age and no dentist has ever mentioned that to me before, and believe me when I say that I've had more than enough dental appointments for a lifetime ). My treatment took just over two weeks. It has been over year and a half since I've had my treatment and I am still over the moon with my smile and the fabulous job that the whole team did. Whatever I say would not be enough to express my gratitude to the whole team at Vedra Dental. Thank you

Non-Surgical TMJ Treatment
Non-surgical treatments for TMJ  include physical therapy, the use of medicinal therapy including non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (such as ibuprofen) and the use of muscle relaxants.
TMJ - Temporomandibular Joint Treatment
Here at Ribagin Dent, it is not just about teeth that we are specialists in. The bones, muscles and all the other soft tissues of the head and neck need to be considered as part of good oral health. One such problem that is common to dentistry is the TMJ disorder.   Temporomandibular syndrome: signs and symptoms: Pain in the facial muscles and jaw joints may radiate to the neck or shoulders. Joints may be overstretched. You may experience muscle spasms from TMJ syndrome. You may feel pain every time you talk, chew, or yawn. Pain usually appears in the joint itself, in front of the ear, but it may move elsewhere in the skull, face, or jaw and lead to headaches, dizziness, and even migraines.TMJ syndrome may cause ear pain, ringing in the ears (tinnitus) and hearing loss. Sometimes people mistake TMJ pain for an ear problem, such as an ear infection, when the ear is not the problem at all. When the joints move, you may hear sounds, such as clicking, grating, and/or popping. Others may also be able to hear the sounds. Clicking and popping are common. This means the disc may be in an abnormal position. Sometimes no treatment is needed if the sounds give you no pain.Your face and mouth may swell on the affected side. The jaw may lock wide open (then it is dislocated), or it may not open fully at all. Also, upon opening, the lower jaw may deviate to one side. You may find yourself favoring one painful side or the other by opening your jaw awkwardly. These changes could be sudden. Your teeth may not fit properly together, and your bite may feel odd.You may have trouble swallowing because of the muscle spasms.
Dentist Consultation
Here at Ribagin Dent, we focus our attention solely on the patients needs. We aim to give you, the patient, the smile you desire by paying attention to all your inquiries, we respect your privacy, we explain every aspect of the treatment you will need (time needed, cost, materials that will be used etc...) These days it is understood that it is very difficult to choose the right cosmetic dentist to carry out your treatment. Different people look for different things in a cosmetic dentist. Some patients are nervous and want a dentist that is sympathetic and understanding and will take their time.
Dental Implants
--per implant--- A dental implant is a "root" device, usually made of titanium, used in dentistry to support restorations that resemble a tooth or group of teeth to replace missing teeth. The first stage of implantation requires the implantologist to assess factors (eg. bone levels, medical conditions) which will decide whether the patient is a good candidate for implants (assessed with panoramic x-rays).If implants are viable, the implantologist will proceed to insert the implant/s into the jaw/s, suture(stitch) the area/s up and the patient will be re-called for a check-up appointment +- 6 months later. These 6 months are vital because the bone fuses to the implant giving it the best support/strength, the soft tissue (gums) are also healed in the area of implantation and the sutures keep the implants free of bacteria. The next stage is started whereby the patient returns after the +- 6 months and the crown/s (the visible part of the tooth) are prepared which will be constructed at a dental lab by dental technicians. The dentist will place temporary crowns on the implant/s abutments (the extension that protrudes out of the gum where the crowns will be fixed to the implant) so that the patient will have use of that area, the implants will be protected and for aesthetic appeal. The patient will then be re-called and the final permanent crowns will be placed. Please note: if you have many teeth missing in an area, this will normally not require you to have implants for every single tooth. For single or double tooth loss in one area-you will need individual implants but 3 or more in one area will require less implants.
