You’ll meet with your plastic surgeon to determine your suitability before undergoing an inverted nipple surgery. Inverted nipple correction is usually performed under local anaesthesia; this would be a day case procedure If you’re just undergoing inverted nipple correction, the surgical incisions will be limited to the areolas. If your surgery is being combined with other breast procedures, the incisions could be placed underneath the nipple.
