From the initial consultation, where Mr Barabas managed to put me at ease, to the day of surgery which, was trouble-free, to the final appointment. The wounds healed with no issues, the sutures were dissolvable and cleverly done. The brilliant Anaesthetist prevented any sickness post op which, I was relieved about. I’m delighted with the results, I look more in proportion, have no more shoulder pain and generally feel much better in many ways. Would I choose the same Surgeon again? 100% yes I would, he’s absolutely lovely and is brilliant at what he does. Also, the Anaesthetist and the Fitzwilliam Hospital were fabulous. Thank you

I had breast enlargement surgery with Oliver Harley. After breastfeeding two children I finally made the decision to make the leap, I wanted to be like I was before the children! Wow, I can't thank or recommend him enough. The whole process from start to finish was quick and relatively painless. I had an overnight stay at the McIndoe hospital in east Grinstead where the staff were lovely and I felt very cared for. I was discharged the following day, back at work after a week and now, 6months on I really couldn't be happier with the finished product. The mans a miracle worker. I would honestly say, stop thinking about it and just do it! The money it cost wasn't a fortune and was well worth it for the way I feel about myself now.

I recently had abdominoplasty with Professor Malata. I am so happy with my results, he is highly respected, and his work is incredible. I felt so reassured and comfortable. Nothing was left unexplained and I recovered fast and my scar is perfect. I highly recommend him!

I had breast surgery. This no-frills private hospital was not luxurious in decor in the private rooms, the blinds looked shabby and the walls were painted a nondescript cream. It was very hot as the room faced west and it was a hot summers day of 30c. Air conditioning in reception and theatre but not on the ward. The only food I was offered post op for an overnight stay was toast, I was not given a menu to make a choice, I asked if I could have ice cream told they do not stock it but was offered a yoghurt instead. Breakfast was again toast or cereal. The procedure went well and I cannot fault the medical or nursing team. I was checked on frequently and the care I received was first class. I do feel though that some attention should be paid to the decor on the wards, air conditioning for the wards, and improve the food on offer, as I felt the catering was worse than NHS provision. After all, it is a private hospital and I expected a little bit of luxury to be standard for the price I was paying for the procedure. The staff were polite yet friendly and professional. I was checked on regularly post op and when I rang for assistance help was quick in coming. However, I later found out there were only two overnight patients. The care I received was excellent, with staff washing hands before approaching and on leaving.
