What a journey it has been! Obesity patients will understand me quite well, the process we are going through is really not easy. I met Mrs Petek from Medivia in a period when my weight and my psychology were in a horrible condition. My journey started by first getting to know Medivia general surgery doctor Mrs Petek, who understood the psychological condition I was in and she walked me through patiently step by step all the processes that are waiting for me. I was welcomed at Istanbul airport and the rest was easy. Dr Afet is a truly amazing surgeon. I had breast reduction and lift from size DD to size B+, very big difference, I feel lighter as I had a problem of heavy breast which causes me numbness in my arms and pressure on my neck, since I had the surgery on the 11th of January 2025, the numbness and pain has gone. Dr Afet went above and beyond to give me perfect results, post-operative care was great and very informative. There was always someone available to answer any queries at any time. The transfer was made perfectly and the driver was very polite, patient and always on time. She asked him about the problem, he told her that in the UK they told him it’s gout, so she sent him to see an orthopaedic specialist who did a scan and MRI to find out what the real problem was and the doctor found that my husband actually has 3 fractures on his foot and had ruptured his Achilles.
