I live in Ireland and I spent a long time choosing where to go for my first gastric sleeve surgery in Turkey. After a lot of research, I decided to go with Hisar Intercontinental Hospital. I was hesitant at first as the reviews I saw were all good and thought this wasn't true. I have to say my experience with Hisar Intercontinental Hospital was amazing. I arrived at the airport and the car was ready for my companion and me. We stayed in the Hilton which was part of our plan. This hotel has a door connecting to a shopping mall which makes it easy if you want to grab some quick gifts etc. The next day a car brought me to the hospital which was close by. As soon as I came in I met with Kemal who greeted me with a big warm welcome. From then on I had tests for hours and an English-speaking translator came with me to every single appointment and explained everything in detail so you always knew what test was next and what was being said. Surgery day the next day of course was painful but it is surgery. The nurses were unbelievably caring and I was shocked as nurses are not that good in my country. Although they didn't speak fluent English, they had more than enough English to communicate. They were so gentle and caring. My surgeon Dr. Omer came to see me every day after surgery to ensure everything was okay and even let me stay in the hospital an extra night because I didn't want to leave as I am bad with pain. My companion was so surprised by how good the care was at the hospital that he agreed to go back in a few months for treatment on his nose. Go here!

Visited from the UK for fitting of a Penile Implant in February 22 under the supervision of Dr Tuncay Tas. The whole process was smooth and made easier by the the great communication beforehand - chatting via WhatsApp etc. The hospital and the after care was superb and the cost was extremely good compared to other organisations and certainly against costs within the UK. Have chatted to consultant since my return and he has spent time reassuring me and making any referrals to help with any fears or worries that I may have had about procedure.
