What an absolute honour and privilege to have been taken care of by Dr Ali and his team. I can honestly say hand on heart, I could not have any form of complaint, through my whole journey from start to finish. It can obviously be a daunting experience coming to a foreign country for surgery but I felt at ease the whole time. We were picked up from the airport and taken to the Antwell Hotel, which is a five-star hotel. We had contact continuously and nothing was too much trouble. On arriving at the immaculate hospital on the day of surgery, we were taken for blood tests, an ECG and a chest X-Ray, checking all was well for surgery. Dr Ali, who speaks perfect English, came and explained everything, what to expect after surgery and that I would have my own private nurse, also speaking perfect English with me throughout the night. The anaesthetist also came to see me before the procedure, again checking everything was good before surgery. Again, nothing was too much trouble. I felt totally safe and at ease. On discharge,e again could not fault a thing. Dr Ali came and explained what to expect and went through various medications and creams to be used, what he had prescribed, again all within the price. I was then picked up and taken back to the Antwell, which is a medical hotel so you feel totally at home and not out of place. At the hotel, there is a nurse you can contact who comes to see you to check stitches etc, and is in constant contact with Dr Ali, sending photos and getting his advice. You never feel alone as soon as you message one of the team; they get back to you within ten minutes, often less. The follow up appointment was just as professional, picked up from the hotel and taken back to the hospital. Dr Ali again was amazing, removed stitches and gave advice.
Dr Ali's work is amazing. What an absolutely talented gentleman, who I'm sure has changed many people's lives for the better. Dr Ali is not only a genius and perfectionist at what he does, but also the most genuinely caring and nice gentleman. Xx
