I went to KCM for a Gastric Balloon. Picked up by their staff in a lovely clean car for the 70-mile journey. Taken straight to our hotel just out of town which was outstanding (all inc in the price of the procedure). Settled in and then collected for tests and to meet my medical English speaking contact Evelin. Made to feel very welcome and put at ease. After tests, my wife and I walked around the old town and new shopping centre before being taken back to the hotel. I was collected the next afternoon for my procedure. I was asked several times if this is what I wanted to do because of nausea that would most likely follow. I was in and out in 3 hours, the procedure only takes 10 minutes. Taken back to the hotel and 2 days later taken back to the airport for a flight home. I was in contact with Evelin every day as she rang to see how I was and if I needed anything. Travelling abroad for procedures like this is worrying but everything was great, the staff and Drivers were friendly. I would definitely recommend this Clinic. I go back in 12 months to have the Balloon removed or earlier if I decide. Again the transfers from the airport and hotel stay are already paid for as it’s in the inclusive package price.
