Dr. Cunneen operated on my crushed finger about 3 months ago. I now have full use of the finger and would not hesitate in recommending Dr. Cunneen to anyone. I found him very caring, friendly and helpful after my operation. Dr. Cunneen’s staff at his clinic are wonderful. The nurses were brilliant and took very good care of me. The receptionist was very good, helped me with my appointments and paperwork.

I underwent a procedure with Dr Mark Doyle in July 2018. Right from the first consult, I was impressed with not only the very attentive reception ladies but also Dr Doyle's manner. He provided extensive information at the first appointment, was extremely patient and caring during the second pre-surgery appointment where my nerves may have been getting the better of me. He made surgery extremely easy, attended to all my requests and provided excellent after surgery care. Due to his exemplary skills on the operating table, there was hardly any post-op pain and healing has been extremely quick. The best part is I have very little scarring to which I am most grateful for considering I have seen similar operations where the scarring has been extensive and very visible. I highly recommend Dr Doyle.

Many women prefer a day stay in hospital but can be overnight if you wish.In breast reduction surgery, excess fat, glandular tissue, and skin from the breasts is removed to make them smaller, lighter, and firmer. The areola is usually made smaller to match the smaller overall size of the breasts.There are no horizontal scars used in this procedure as Dr Doyle uses a “lollipop” technique for quicker healing and recovery time with minimal scarring. Most women can return to work within 2 to 3 weeks but should avoid strenuous activities and exercise for 6 weeks.

At Gold Coast Plastic Surgery, Dr. Doyle uses the Breast Lift (mastopexy) to lift and reshape sagging breasts to make them firmer and improve their shape.The Breast Lift is not necessarily just a procedure for women with large breasts. At Gold Coast Plastic Surgery we have seen dramatic results in women with smaller sagging breasts. This procedure is considered medical in some circumstances and subject to Medicare rebates. There is certain criteria that needs to be met including significant droop experienced after childbirth.The breast lift is often combined with other procedures, for example; many women with large breasts opt to have a breast reduction at the same time. If you have small, sagging breasts that have lost volume over the years, a breast lift with implants will enhance the size and firmness of your breasts, lifting them to their original position. The results look amazing.The breast lift procedure begins with an incision made around the areola (the dark circle of skin surrounding the nipple) and down to the curve of the breast. This is sometimes referred to as a "lollipop" incision. No horizontal scars are used in this procedure by Dr. Doyle allowing quicker healing time with minimal scarring.Excess skin and tissue are trimmed away and the breasts are tightened and lifted around the newly contoured breast. The nipples will be repositioned to create the most natural-looking results.A breast lift is considered an extremely safe, effective procedure. The procedure takes 2 to 3 hours to complete under general anaesthetic and is usually a day stay in hospital. Most women are able to return to work within 2 to 3 weeks. Strenuous exercise and heavy lifting should be avoided for 6 weeks.
