I travelled alone in June 21 had sleeve surgery from the time I arrived at the hospital I was made feel so welcome. The staff and medical team are excellent. The surgeon was so professional . I'd no pain was up walking within an hour of returning from surgery. I would highly recommend that ismer for anyone thinking of going on this journey. I have never looked back never had any issues. I'm 7 months post-op doing fantastic feeling fantastic my health has greatly improved my confidence has been massively improved I be forever grateful to all the team for providing such a professional service. Also the surgeon was agent. I for sure will recommend that. I will most definitely return for my plastic surgery. Many thanks to each and every one of you without a doubt I will be returning

Sleeve surgery on 7.2.24- My experience with Dr Tufan and his team was of excellent care. From first contact with Burcu, care coordinator, I felt very welcomed. Nurse Mine is very confident and I feel safe, and she made me feel confident and ready to start my sleeve journey. Cigli, the nutritionist, very educational and politely reminded me that, without sticking to my meal plan, then what's the point to go through the surgery then!! Finally, Dr Tufan himself, presented as a real warm, caring human being. I felt a sense of belonging and a fit to the team. His body language was very reassuring and indeed. My surgery went well with no surprises. At the hospital, despite language barrier, the care was excellent. night shift Nurse, Ariwa, you are a true nurse. I will choose dr Tufan again and again.

I had bulbous nose and my surgery had in May 2023. Dr Bahitten is very professional I’m really satisfied with the results. The hospital was clean and tidy and the staff was very friendly & helpful. Ideal for solo travellers. The package was responsible too. Please ask for medical documents before leaving the hospital cause on Airport you can be ask for your reports. I highly recommend this Hospital.

Gastric by-pass surgery is a method that not only limits the intake of food but also reduces the absorption of food. It is still the most common type of combined surgeries. In this operation, the upper part of the stomach is reduced to about 30-50 cc. In the second stage, a portion of the small intestine is brought into this small gastric pouch and then joined together. With this method, almost 80% of the stomach is disabled, and patients get a feeling of satiety quickly with much smaller portions. At the same time, some part of the absorption of nutrients is prevented. After this surgery, the food we eat passes directly to the ileum which is the 2nd part of our small intestine, so various hormones are secreted much more and these hormones cause more insuliin hormone to be released from our pancreas gland. Therefore, gastric by-pass surgery is more preferred in patients with obesity and Type 2 Diabetes. Gastric by-pass surgery is performed with closed method. The operation lasts for about two hours and the patient can stand up at the 4th hour after the surgery to meet his own needs. After this operation, the patient is kept under observation in the hospital for about 3 days and drug treatment is organized on the 3rd day and the patient leaves hospital to continue his daily life with the support of a dietician.
