I travelled to Izmir, Turkey on 12th May 2025 and had my surgery on 13th May. I had an extensive thigh and lower buttock lift, alongside a breast lift. From the moment I arrived and even now that I have returned to the UK, the care I have received from JFS Clinic has been outstanding. I undertook a lot of research to identify who I wanted to conduct my surgery and narrowed it down to 3 clinics, which included Dr Onur Evren Yılmaz at JFS. Out of the 3 clinics, the coordinator at JFS was exceptional. Her name is Illy, she provided me with a video call and thoroughly answered all of my questions in a very timely manner, even when she needed to go away and consult with Dr Onur. Illy was one of the reasons I chose to book with JFS. Dr Onur Evren Yılmaz was my surgeon, and I met with him the day before my surgery so he could discuss what my expectations were and complete some preliminary markups on my body. He, too, was very thorough and explained everything. The surgery went well,l and I saw Dr Onur 3 more times after my surgery, where he assessed my wounds and changed my dressings. I am very pleased with the results so far. It is still early days, but I am healing well and have had no issues. Illy continues to check in on my progress via video call and WhatsApp regularly. Everything about my surgery experience has been positive, from Illy to the hospital/hotel staff, my surgeon, Dr Onur and Mr Kaa, who was my companion, I cannot recommend JFS enough!
I had my surgery 3 weeks ago. Before I left home I was very apprehensive but those feelings soon went. My coordinator was Oguzhan who was superb and always answered my questions immediately. I was met at the airport and was driven in a nice Mercedes taxi van. We arrived at the hospital which was immaculate and had fabulous staff. I had tests in the evening and morning before having my surgery at 10 am. My doctor was a great guy and will see you 3 times in total. When I awakened after the surgery the pain is intense due to the gas the put inside you for the surgery but this soon goes away. The key is walking to alleviate the pain. I am so glad I chose Dr. Volkan and in 3 weeks I have lost 2.5 stone and I am wearing clothes that haven't fitted me in years.
I had gastric sleeve surgery on 26 January 2023. I was obese on the BMI scale, however my reason for the surgery was arthritis pain in my knees and fibromyalgia. The whole experience was fantastic from the initial communication through to today. All staff I came into contact with were extremely knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. I am no longer classed as obese nor overweight on the BMI scale and my arthritis and fibromyalgia do not bother me daily anymore. It was, and continues to be, the best decision I have made for myself.
From collection from the airport, our journey began! First night in a very nice hotel picked up early morning and headed to the hospital, we were met by a lovely Girl named mya from the monoclinic who quickly checked us in and up to our room we went, within the next hour, we had all the required tests required before surgery. I met the surgeon Dr Ali Sarac who explained the op in great detail and put me at ease with his knowledge and experience in the procedure. Upon waking after having the gastric sleeve the pain was easily manageable and the nurses couldn’t have been more friendly. They used google translate as to explain what they were doing I was very impressed with the kindness of the staff at the hospital. After 3 nights in the hospital, we then went to the aftercare villa ‘WOW’ the place is amazing as is Gokay the guy who looks after all your needs whilst their absolute gentleman also Cem who arranges all of your transport to and from the airport. Hospital, clinic same again a gentleman! It was my first surgery abroad and was quite nervous but all the mono staff were so nice and very professional all I can say is that if you are thinking of having any procedure look no further than the Mono Clinic. I was 100% over the moon with them and I will be going back in the future.
