From the first contact with Esra, right through the consultation process, esra was fantastic and was extremely patient and knowledgeable about the surgery I was looking for. Which is a complex surgery, a mini gastric bypass revision to a roux en y bypass, due to severe reflux disease. ESRA enabled me to have a Zoom call with the surgeon to answer all my questions, making me more comfortable with my decision to go to Turkey for this complex procedure. The hospital is state of the art...Drs are extremely good at what they do, plus Esra is there to guide you every step of the way. I would not hesitate to recommend Esra for all of your surgery needs, not only is she a lovely, caring person, but extremely good at what she does.

Gastric bypass surgery shows its effect through three mechanisms;   1. It has a restrictive effect as the stomach volume is reduced.  2. By reducing absorption since the small intestine is bypassed   3. Via hormonal effect      Gastric bypass surgery ends obesity by causing 70-80% loss of excess weight in these three ways.  This effect is more permanent and stronger than sleeve gastrectomy.      Gastric bypass surgery is performed by laparoscopic (closed) method. The surgery takes approximately 45 minutes on average in our series. Advantages  • The rate of weight regain is lower than sleeve gastrectomy. For this reason, the need for revision surgery is less common.  • In the presence of type 2 diabetes, blood sugar control and regulation is more effective and permanent than sleeve gastrectomy.   • In the presence of reflux or hiatal hernia, the first option is obesity surgery due to its therapeutic effect on reflux.

I had bulbous nose and my surgery had in May 2023. Dr Bahitten is very professional I’m really satisfied with the results. The hospital was clean and tidy and the staff was very friendly & helpful. Ideal for solo travellers. The package was responsible too. Please ask for medical documents before leaving the hospital cause on Airport you can be ask for your reports. I highly recommend this Hospital.
