Revisional Bariatric Surgery Izmir

I am from Germany, 28 years old. I had Sleeve Gastrectomy operation about 5 months ago. I got to know M.D. Cemal Kara thanks to my cousin. First of all, I decided to have Gastric Bypass surgery. However, because it was my first operation, he recommended Sleeve Gastrectomy surgery. I have no regrets. I went into surgery with 129 kilos and I currently weigh 92 kg. It has been 5 months since I stopped taking my diabetes and blood pressure medications. The team and the doctor are so friendly that you never feel lonely. They meet you at the airport and are with you until you return home. The follow-up process, paying attention has been going on for 5 months. I'm very grateful to you for giving me a new life, M.D. Cemal Kara and his team. I feel myself so lucky to meet you!

I had a gastric sleeve a month ago I opted for the robot procedure it was the best thing I’ve ever done. I’ve had the best treatment at the hospital. All the staff were friendly and supportive. All the tests they performed were rigorous and thorough. My surgeon who performed the procedure was Prof Dr Abdulkadir Bedirli he was fabulous from start to finish he came to see me after the opp and then every day to see how I was. The hospital was so clean and tidy- every room had en suite. The nurses were attentive to the patients individual needs. Even the international team who liaised with me from the beginning to the end where fantastic answering all my questions.

I would (and have) recommend Dr Türker Karabuga and the gastric sleeve to anyone who has long term weight issues. I have lost over 40kgs and feel fabulous. The procedure was uneventful and I have been able to quickly start exercising and enjoying my energy levels. I have been able to go on an aeroplane without asking for a longer belt, buy clothes off the rack and am generally more confident and feel healthy and well. This has been a great experience for me.

They made me feel so welcome and supportive from day one till I went home. I am now 23 months from having my Gastric Sleeve with The Health Store Turkey. Best decision I ever made, and my only regret is, wish I’d done it sooner. Even almost 2 year’s on, if I wanted support of any kind, it’s there. I can’t begin to explain the treatment from inquiring to booking, being picked up, the pre-op tests, the care throughout was just outstanding. If you’re thinking about it, go for it. There is honesty and transparency from day 1. I’m loving all the beautiful clothes I can choose from and feel good in. I was in a tight size 20, now I’m a size 6/8. Being only 5ft I can also wear kids clothes 😊
