I had gastric sleeve surgery with Apera last April. All the staff, translators and medical team are amazing, so friendly and caring. Pre-op I was advised liver reduction diet a week before surgery. On arrival I was advised about fasting for pre-op, I was measured and weighed and had a heart scan before surgery. The surgeon took time to see me both pre and post-operation and he is so friendly and caring. After the op, the medical team gave pain medication and performed a leak test, cleaned and checked my wounds and advised drinking plenty of water and walking. I also received aftercare with medicine, vitamins, protein shakes medical advice diet plan and nutritionist support for 1 year. I was looked after as soon as I came off the plane I had included transportation with my companion to and from the airport, hotels, clinic and hospital so there was no worrying about transport. My experience with Apera overall was amazing and would highly recommend it.
