Hi, I was treated by Martina in Rathmines every week for about 6 weeks. I found it to be a fantastic experience. I was full of anxieties, self-doubts and frustrations. She was an amazing listener and could unravel all of those issues in a way I never thought possible. We got to the source of them, and I came away from her every week with a much better understanding of myself. I talked about things I hadn't even thought of for years. She was so prepared every week, knowing exactly where to start as if the previous session had only been the day before. Today I am a much different person to the one she first met, more capable of dealing with whatever comes my way. I am truly grateful to her for what she did.

One service I provide as an option alongside the is a brief mental health checkup.  This is not a psychiatric or psychological assessment but a client led, self reflective process. This idea provides a space for the client to reflect on key areas specific to them such as ConcentrationEmotionsMoodEnergySleepWork/Life balanceRelationshipsTension/AnxietyBy reflecting on some of these topics with the respectful guidance of the therapist the client can arrive at an assessment on how they are doing and whether they may need assistance on any specific area(s). Audrey has supported our 15 year old daughter and ourselves via video link for the past year via her private practice. She has diagnosed our daughter and made recommendations for her care that have enable our daughter to make huge strides in her ability to cope with the world of today. Sometimes Audrey has given feedback or made recommendations that have been difficult to hear but these have always been in the best interests of our daughter and although we didn't always agree with her, she was invariably right in her assessments.

My GP suggested that I should get CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy) for my OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). I have to admit that I was skeptical but was willing to try anything. I found OPAL on the What Clinic site through an Internet search. I was put in contact with Ray James and he explained the concept of CBT so well that I felt re-assured. I had eight sessions in total and Ray helped me so much during these. I learnt effective coping strategies and he helped me to confront my OCD. I can now manage this and live life more fully. I have no hesitation in recommending Ray as a first class therapist.
