Petra Kucan Psychologist - Petra Kucan Psychologist

Petra Kucan Psychologist

24 Upper Rathmines Road, Rathmines, Dublin, D6
Rating from 10 Reviews The sessions were informal, relaxing and immensely helpfulRossa, UK, 19 Jul 17

I started seeing Petra about 8 months ago after I started suffering from depression and anxiety for the first time. I was quite nervous as I'd never been to a therapist before, but Petra was able to help me understand what I was feeling, what was causing it, and how I could tackle it bit by bit. The sessions were informal, relaxing and immensely helpful. She explained how anxiety and depression worked, gave me practical tools like CBT to help me deal with them and monitored my progress closely. I feel much happier, more self-aware and much better equipped to deal with my mental health in future. Throughout it all, Petra was kind, patient and professional and I would 100% recommend her to anyone They were professional, affordable and booking sessions were very easy with them. They seemed to have an excellent range of therapists available across the country and I have recommended them to a few friends already.

Rating from 7 Reviews I cannot be more grateful for all the support and help that I'm getting from my therapistTeodora, Ireland, 23 Apr 18

What I can say that the treatment and my lovely therapist Beatriz changed my life. I've been fighting against eating disorder for almost whole my life but I've never been aware what I was doing and the reason behind it. Always feeling I was not good enough, not taking care of myself, and just going with the flow. It has been quite a tough period for me. 2 years ago I was in a life crisis and depression and a friend of mine who was doing the therapy recommended to me. I didn't think it even for a moment. I just felt I have to do something otherwise I won't be never happy with myself. Since the first session, I had an amazingly strong connection with my therapist and I truly believe this was the key to success. It was very important to feel safe and comfortable to talk to her and especially to open up. I'm saying this because a couple of months starting the therapy with Beatriz I had the other therapist and it was not working at all. I was feeling so pressured if I didn't know how to answer her questions so it was not good at all. After 2 years of therapy, I have to say this is the best thing I've ever done for myself. I've improved a lot with my well-being but still, have a long way to go but now I feel much more confident and strong to continue with this journey. I cannot be more grateful for all the support and help that I'm getting from my therapist. The clinic of Mymind is very comfortable and it's in a perfect location for me. It takes just 10 min by bike and this is one of the reasons I've picked it. My first session I was quite nervous, but after a while I started filling very comfortable and even I met new people in the clinic. At the beginning I was scared if someone who knows me will see going there and they would think but right now I feel that confident that I don't care at all. Even I'm recommending my friends to start a treatment.

Rating from 9 Reviews From the time we phoned to the follow-ups they have been a great supportSinead, Qatar, 19 Sep 18

Child Psychologist Assessment for Dyslexia. I would highly recommend Eirim and Kate. From the time we phoned to the follow-ups they have been a great support, very welcoming and friendly. My daughter was very relaxed in Kates company and her approach with her was lovely. Thank you all and good luck in the future.

I was very happy with the service from my first phone call to receiving the reportYvonne, Ireland, 06 Dec 17

My son is 18 years of age and had an assessment done in my home as he was very anxious. He needed to be assessed to help him go forward with his education and get the correct assistance in college regarding resources available to him. I believe the money paid is invaluable as you cannot put a price on education and your livelihood in the future. My reason for choosing this clinic is because I had contacted a few clinics regarding assessment for my son who is 18. I felt they asked the right questions given his age, what he wanted the report for, had the appropriate person contact me to discuss my son and sent a really nice person out to do the assessment at my home as my son was very anxious and I did not feel that doing the assessment in an unfamiliar environment would be good for him. I was very happy with the service from my first phone call to receiving the report. Thank you so much.
