A full-body massage is just a way of saying that the therapist will massage your whole body during a therapeutic massage. This includes your back, neck, shoulders, arms, legs, feet and hands. There are two exceptions -- one is if its an express service, just 30 minutes instead of the usual an hour. In that case the massage therapist might concentrate on one area, usually back, neck and shoulders, so you get more benefit.The other is when you ask the therapist to concentrate on a specific area during the full-length massage. They take more time on that area, and usually skip or go very lightly over other areas

Hot stone massage has to be one of the most enjoyable and relaxing therapeutic massages available. For hundreds of years, hot stone massage has been used by many different cultures and modern-day therapists apply the same techniques for a wonderfully relaxing massage designed to work on muscle tension at the deepest level. During the hot stone massage treatment, smooth, basaltic (volcanic) rocks that have been heated in water are used in two ways; some stones are wrapped in towels and placed in tension areas, whilst other stones are used to perform the body massage. The heat of the stones penetrates deep into the muscle tissue allowingthe muscles to relax 4-5 times quicker than in a standard body massage, easingmuscle tension and revitalising the muscle tissue by increasing bloodcirculation. Aromatherapy combines massage techniques together with essential oils from plants, to help restore balance in the body and help to improve physical and emotional well-being. The essential oils may be extracted from various parts of the plant eg. the fruits, flowers, leaves, grass, roots, wood, bark, resin and blossom. It uses the principle that strengthening the body’s own immune system is the most effective way to prevent illness and promote health and so help to restore the harmony between mind, body and spirit.
