Magda Oliveira is an experienced and qualified holistic therapist and has been working for many years with a number of therapies that can help to ease a wide variety of conditions. In order to offer the most effective soothing and healing treatment she combines various massage techniques, Ayurvedic acupressure, Lymphatic drainage and Reflexology with firm or light pressure depending on the needs and preferences of the client. In her practice Magda Oliveira especially focuses on women's physical and mental health issues, including PMS, menopausal problems, fertility challenges, pregnancy, depression, migraines, exhaustion, insomnia,  muscular aches, pains and stiffness among many others. Magda completed my M.A. in History in 2001 and soon she came to realize that she did not feel inspired about teaching anymore. I have been involved in setting up healing spaces at festivals and events, and recently helped set up a beautiful treatment room in the Fumbally Stables in Dublin 8, which is used by a dynamic team of holistic practitioners. My work in this field has lead me to working with vulnerable people in the community such as those with intellectual and physical disabilities, mental health issues and addiction. I have found that the response from these clients to gentle, loving massage has been transformational to the way I work.
