The treatment was excellent compared with the treatment we had in Ireland over a period of 5 years. Straight to point, no waffle pregnant on second egg donation attempt. Everyone was very helpful Elena and Dr Thanos especially now we have a wonderful son just wish we had have found out about them before trying in IVF clinic in Ireland.

IVF at Embryoland with donor cells (all the way from Australia) is one of the best decisions my partner and I have ever made. In fact, we wish we’d done it earlier. After 5 failed attempts in Adelaide and Melbourne including 2 miscarriages, we felt we wasted a lot of money and emotional energy trying new protocols that only resulted in disappointment. Dr Nikos and his team are friendly, caring, and open. They’re also very responsive via email and Whatsapp within hours or days, unlike weeks of waiting from other IVF clinics in Europe. They genuinely treat it as their mission to get you pregnant and always go above and beyond to take care of those who travel from all over the globe to see him. His personality is a breath of fresh air and when it’s your turn to see him, he gives you all the time and answers in the world. After one trip to Embryoland, we are now 13 weeks pregnant with twins and over the moon. To anyone open to using donor cells, don’t wait. Just fly there and he’ll help you.

My experience with pelagros IVF and Dr Karpousis has been entirely positive. We spent a long time looking into clinics abroad as our research pointed to clinics in Greece and Prague had the highest success rates in europe. our decision to go with pelagros IVF was based on his high first cycle success rates. At the moment I'm 10 weeks pregnant after just one cycle. I found Dr Karpousis to be completely professional and always responded to my questions about medication etc. He set out a plan for my cycle, and we decided to do a frozen cycle, as this can lead to higher success rates. When my eggs were collected he got 10 mature eggs, nine of these fertilized and we got 6 day 5 embryos. I came back to Athens a few months later for the transfer which was successful. Dr Karpousis took his time with our cycle and it was worth the wait. The clinic he was based in for my cycle was at IASO hospital in Athens, but I know that he works out of a few different clinics in Athens, depending on the customers needs or age. IASO institute of life clinic, the staff were great too, and we are so impressed by the lab there. The embryologist explained to me on the day of my transfer that we had been selected to have our embryos scanned with new artificial intelligence technology to rate the embryos chances of pregnancy. We were really grateful for this and that lab is known to be one of the most advanced in Europe. One embryo was given 89% chance and the other 39%. We have found this to be accurate. Dr Karpousis staff Elizabeth and Maria were very helpful and friendly too, organising different parts of the cycle and getting prescriptions and referral letters. My experience was great with both the clinic and Dr Karpousis and we would completely recommend pelagros IVF, going to Athens itself was lovely and Athens is a really interesting historical city to explore.

I had a very positive experience with Dr Douliotis. I got a IUD inserted today and was very nervous about the procedure. However, Dr Douliotis wasted no time and was swift, professional and attentive to my needs. I would highly recommend.

At the beginning of my IVF journey, I messaged several different clinics/doctors, as it's always good to have some comparison. From the responses I got, and after the initial message exchanges, it quickly became clear Dr. Bazeos would be my best choice - he always replied promptly to all questions I had, in a logical organised manner. There was no pressure to decide 'here and now'; I could ask questions and Dr. Bazeos always answered, even though he had no guarantee I'd choose to do the treatment with him! He also speaks excellent English, which was important to me. I had the treatment (IVF) in the IASO hospital in Athens. I was surprised how big and busy the hospital is. Sometimes there were small delays probably because of the number of patients, but it didn't really matter because I was on holidays anyway. In a way I was reassured I made a good choice - so many other people were having treatment at IASO as well! I had 4 appointments during the 2-week period of taking hormonal injections. Dr. Bazeos always answered all questions, even though sometimes he was super busy, and was always happy to help if I needed anything (e.g. finding medication). Then, there were the most important parts - egg retrieval, fertilisation and embryo transfer. After each stage, with every little success, I was more and more optimistic the IVF would end in a pregnancy. I was extremely happy each time I learned something went well, and so was Dr. Bazeos – I am sure he has done thousands of IVF cycles before, but he seemed genuinely happy for me & always wished me good luck. And now the best part – I am pregnant!!! 😊 It is, of course, still early, and I realise things can go wrong, but still… This was my first IVF cycle and I’m so happy I chose Dr. Bazeos. He is a very knowledgeable specialist & I fully trust his decisions. I’d definitely make the same choice if I had to do it again.
