I made an appointment for my mother to have her ear wax removed, my mother is 85 years old and suffers from dementia and Alzheimers and is an extremely nervous person and dislikes all medical professionals. I sent a message to the clinic via their online form and received a call back within minutes of doing so. I made the appointment and brought my mother, who was so upset with me that I brought her. But, Sam Haque, very swiftly and professionally made my mother feel at ease, by talking to her and reassuring her throughout the Micro-Suction procedure. Sam made a short video to show my mother and us the before and after state of my mother's ears and by the end of the session, which was very quick my mother left in such a happy mood, which is a first for any appointment. Sam and the rest of the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Thank you so much for a very, very professional experience. I would definitely recommend to everyone especially if you are nervous about these types of procedures or you care for someone who is vulnerable, nervous and weary of these types of procedures. I had both ears cleaned by suction. I only used olive oil on one but the process did not cause any discomfort at all. Highly recommended and waiting time for the appointment was a week. I chose Nuffield as I could get an appointment quickly to suit me. The reception staff were polite and helpful and only waited about 5 minutes before being called in. The doctor and nurse were both extremely pleasant and the process was explained.

Had Parathyroidectomy September 2022. Did a lot of research prior to deciding who would be the best consultant to do the procedure. Had part NHS care, then opted for self-pay private `op` Well worth the fee. He is a very good listener, naturally, patients may be somewhat stressed/worried but he puts you at ease straight away, answers questions and informs you about what will be the care/tests/`op`needed and the prognosis on your own understandable terms. He is a good all-rounded chap who actually cares for his patients.
