Samia is a qualified nutritional therapist. She has met the requirements to be member of, and is regulated by the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). Samia applies nutrition science in her consultations and uses the Functional Medicine approach. Functional Medicine addresses the underlying causes of disease, using a systems-oriented approach. Functional Medicine looks at the interactions among diet, exercise, environmental and genetic factors that can influence long-term health and complex, and/or chronic health issues. It addresses the whole person, not just an isolated set of symptoms. Samia uses a wide range of analysis tools and laboratory testing in order to understand the underlying cause of the client’s health concerns.
