I wanted to say a big thanks to The Chiropractic Clinic and especially chiropractor Lily Lloyd-West for the professional and caring way I’ve been treated so far. I’ve a number of back pain issues that have plagued me for many years. I’ve tried everything including medication and various physio sessions. I work in the NHS and was recommended to try a chiropractor by a colleague. I’m half way through my treatment plan and the improvement in my movement and relief from daily pain has been startling in such a short time. It’s a great beginning on a long journey. Lily spent time listening to me and understanding all my health problems and is always willing to tweak the treatments at every session depending on what pain I’m having. It’s hard work but I have improved so I’m genuinely grateful. I’d recommend the treatment plans. You can save but the main thing for me is being able to plan ahead. Thank you for all your help.

A Musculoskeletal / biomechanical assessment is necessary to diagnose a range of problems including:Plantar Fasciitis (heel pain) Tendon Pain (Tendinopathy/Tendonitis) Painful Bunions Morton's Neuromas Metatarsalgia (forefoot pain) General foot pain (muscular and/or joint pain). During the assessment the quality and range of movement of joints, muscle strength and flexibility, compensatory mechanisms are all assessed as well as the way that you stand, paying particular attention to the way the foot contacts the ground at each stage of the gait cycle. A biomechanical assessment could also be helpful for anyone experiencing lower back, knee, hip, calf, ankle, or foot pain whereby the cause has not yet been established. The biomechanical assessment is the first step in understanding what the cause of the problem is, what can be done, and what further investigations or referrals to other health professionals are needed.

Some years ago I had treatment at a local podiatrist, which left me very fearful of ever going back to a podiatrist. Though still twitchy, I took the plunge and booked a visit at Flawless Feet. I can say that from the moment I stepped into this clinic, I was put at ease and the whole experience was a very positive one. So much so, I have booked a follow-up appointment. Definitely one to be recommended.
