I am a psychotherapist with a private practice at 22 Upper Baggot Street Dublin and Frederick Street Ashbourne Co Meath. I work with couples, individuals and adolescents having received specific training in these areas. My background is in nursing with over 20 years experience working with the HSE. In 2004 I was awarded a B.A., Hons in Psychology and in 2007, M.Sc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at DCU.  From 2007 - 2017, I have worked as a couples therapist with Relationships Ireland (formerly MRCS) and am very experienced in working with all couple problems. In 2009 I trained as a adolescent counsellor with theTeen Between Service and have worked as a teen counsellor since seeing young people over 12yrs.  I am accredited as a psychotherapist and supervisor with the Irish  Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). For most people its a big decision  to come and see a therapist Knowing what to expect can make it a little easier. First Session: Our first meeting will be an exploratory session. Just flew back from the UK at the weekend without so much as a whimper thanks to Seamus’s excellent work - that was my second trip so I’m very confident the treatment has worked. I fly regularly with work and it was becoming more and more of a challenge to deal with the fear and anxiety before and particularly during the flight. I’m a different person now when it comes to flying - nerves no longer an issue. I’ll still listen to the session in advance of further flights but that’s just to reinforce the happy thoughts. Thanks again Seamus it’s made such a difference.

Diamante my therapist was very pleasant, but at the same time asked me difficult questions. She probed deep into my past, and got me to express feelings that I hadn’t done with anyone before. Overall every session with her was good for me The only drawback for me is that I live over 100 miles from the clinic and I can only get an appointment on Saturday. A midweek appointment would be much easier for me.
