Insight Matters - Phibsborough - Psychotherapy Clinic in Ireland

Insight Matters - Phibsborough

46 Mountjoy Square South, Dublin 1, Dublin
Insight Matters provides Individual, Relationship and Group Counselling, Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for a wide range of issues. Psychotherapy and counselling gives you a regular time to think and talk about the issues, which are stopping you from living a happier and fuller life. This is carried out in a confidential, safe and non-judgemental space. It works best when a collaborative relationship is formed between you and your therapist. When you see a psychotherapist or counsellor you get to learn more about yourself and how your mind and body works and the relationship between your beliefs and thoughts and how you feel and behave. The aim of the psychotherapy is lasting psychological change, brought about through increased insight. These changes include: • Becoming more able to feel, identify and express emotions.• Making connections (e.g. between feelings and behaviours or past and present experiences).• Gaining a greater understanding of behaviours.• Developing effective emotional and practical coping strategies.• Re-evaluating perceptions and past experiences, this often leads us to become more self-accepting. You and the therapist will explore thoughts, feelings and behaviours that may be causing emotional and physical distress. Together you will discover new healthier ways of coping and letting go of past experiences, enabling you to move forward with your life. At Insight Matters we are committed to providing services built

I felt like a massive weight had been lifted off my shouldersTheresa, Ireland, 14 10 15

I have suffered from low self esteem and for a long time I felt like I was stuck in a rut. I knew something had to give. I made an appointment with Lisa in the hope that counselling might help me with my dark feelings. Almost immediately after meeting with Lisa I felt like a massive weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Lisa has helped me achieve a better understanding of myself. I have attended 6 sessions with Lisa at True Horizon so far and she has already provided me with great tools to manage my dark feelings. Lisa's fee of €50.00 per session is very reasonable. True Horizon is a calm and safe environment. I was nervous before my first session but all my nerves left me as soon as I met Lisa. She is such a genuine and non judgmental person. I would highly recommend Lisa to anyone who is feeling low or just doesn't feel right in themselves. The best move I've ever made was to make that initial appointment with Lisa.

I have lost 8lbs so far with no troubleDeirdre, Ireland, 09 04 16

After years of yoyo dieting I decided to try hypnotherapy, after an initial consultation with Cormac he recommended 8 sessions to deal with issues from my childhood as well as weight loss. I have one session left but already feel so more confident have made peace with my past and am making good decisions food wise, am back at my bokwa class and loving it. I have lost 8lbs so far with no trouble or feeling I'm depriving myself and am feeling very confident that I will continue with my new heathy eating habits. I would recommend Cormac to anyone struggling with weight issues or needing to shut the door on unpleasant childhood memories. He goes above and beyond even if it means going over allotted time I have never felt rushed and have always found Cormac very welcoming and relaxing with no awkwardness.
