As I am an SX veteran (had 6 procedures in the past 5 years) it is safe to say that I know about this industry and know exactly what's going on. Not only in Turkey, but I also had a few procedures in the Dominic Republic, Hungary, and Prague as well. I can say the Clinic Excellent was the greatest care that I have received so far. Surgeons, doctors, nurses and a huge team is working for you. Not only have one, but you also had 2 coordinators all the time with you for your all arrangements. Nurses are coming into your room nearly every day, checking you out, and giving you massages if you would like to have some. The operating surgeon comes and visits you as well and even if you need to go and see the surgeon by yourself, still, their driver is waiting for you, picks you up in front of your hotel, and drops you back once you are done. Honestly, after hearing many stories about how women are left unhelpful in different countries I was scared off to getting any more procedures. One of my friends had a BBL operation with Clinic Excellent and according to her everything was awesome so I wanted to experience it firsthand as well. I am 100% grateful for the care and results that I have received.

I lost two teeth in my lower jaw. Dr Adnan did two implants with zirconium. It was incredibly successful. His practice office is very hygienic and modern and his assistant is very kind.

I stopped at Clinique Dent Beaute in Maslak Istanbul for check up. It was an amazing experience. The reception personnel especially Meral was real professional and friendly and she help me get started. Also every one was great and beautiful attitude in the office. On top of that, the office is state of art and lots new X-ray technology and fantastic technicians. Anyhow, I had a root canal and five crowns done. They have done such a great and professional job that I am now deciding to go back to Dent Beaute in Maslak Istanbul to have More done on my teeth. Their pricing is also reasonable and affordable. If you need any dental work, no need to look further.

During our visit from Canada to Istanbul our Turkish friend who is a patient of NesbetiyeDent recommended Dr Zeynep Tutal and Dr Ece Sidal to us. We were both apprehensive about having any dental treatments done outside our home country. However, after our initial visit to the clinic my husband and I was very impressed with their professionalism, expertise and decided to start our treatments immediately. My husband had 5 implants, root canals, crowns and bridges plus all the cosmetic work for a great smile. I had crowns and bridges done plus all the work necessary for a perfect outcome. We are extremely impressed with Dr Zeynep’s incredible passion for her profession and her incredible perfectionism which are a reflection of her character and pride in her work. Also with Dr Ece’s incredible passion for her profession and extreme attention to details to give us both the perfect smiles. Their dedication is highly appreciated. We must also acknowledge their highly qualified specialist colleagues and their friendly and professional staff. We spent many hours and days in their clinic and we always felt comfortable. I travelled to Istanbul with my daughter for her iLASIK surgery at Risus Clinic, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt confident and reassured. I’ve been dealing with hypermetropia (farsightedness) for years and had been considering an IOL lens operation. However, Dr. Öncel recommended LASIK surgery instead, and I’m so glad I trusted his expertise. Both my daughter and I are thrilled with the results. I don't normally leave reviews but I'm leaving this one as I found Dr Cem after reading these reviews. The review in question said "Stop looking any further, you've found your man" and I would like to second this opinion. Here is my story. I needed a tooth removal and an implant placed to support a crown consisting of 2 teeth. I went to my UK implant dentist (who had placed 2 previous implants) and the quote was £4300, using porcelain crowns. I would have to wait 3 months for the 1st appointment and the whole procedure would take approx 10 months (3 months waiting for 1st appointment of tooth removal, 3 months to let the jaw bone heal and then place the implant, 4 months to let the implant bond to the jaw bone) so I decided to look abroad for a cheaper, faster service and I found Dr Cem. I sent him a WhatsApp message with photos explaining what needed doing and received great communication, answering all my questions. I explained to him that I didn't want bright white 'Turkey teeth' but natural-looking crowns and he reassured me. I asked how quickly he could fit me in and he could see me the following week. There would be no charge for the tooth removal (£350 in my UK quote) and he would be able to place the implant immediately after removing the tooth. I initially asked for a price for a Straumann implant (Rolls Royce of implants, so I thought) but after doing some homework, I settled for a Megagen implant (Skoda of implants, very good and successful but cheaper, 700 euros including bone graft ) and approximately 2 weeks after first contacting Dr Cem found myself in Istanbul with my daughter to have the implant fitted. Like many other reviews here I had very little pain, probably 0.5 on a scale of 0-10, and went for a meal with my daughter that evening. I came home, kept my mouth scrupulously clean and it healed very quickly, although I should add that the dissolvable stitches didn't fully dissolve so I had to ask my UK dentist to remove them. This was a little bit embarrassing but she did do it and didn't charge for it, probably because it took her less than 5 minutes! Dentists are advertising online who provide this service if your dentist refuses to do it for you. Last week, 3.5 months after having the implant placed, I returned to Istanbul with my wife for a week's dental holiday. On Monday we visited Dr Cem for the impressions and he suggested that rather than just having the 2 crowns, why didn't I also replace the other 4 front crowns because what was the point in having 2 amazing teeth alongside 4, 20-year-old goofy, poorly fitted porcelain crowns and I decided that he was right and at £340 each for zirconium crowns, which are between £600-£800 each in the UK, why not? On Wednesday we had a quick check of the 6 crowns to check they fitted OK etc and finally on Friday he fitted my new teeth and I am delighted with them. They look very natural, fit up to the gums, aren't goofy, like my old ones, aren't metallic like my old porcelain crowns and being zirconium, are practically indestructible. If you do have the option, I would recommend getting the work done over winter as flights and hotels are much cheaper and Istanbul is quieter (albeit, still heaving in the tourist areas!!). In summary, Dr Cem is a fantastic, highly qualified, highly experienced implantologist and you don't need to look any further.

I wanted to do all on 4 in the upper and lower jaw because I had very bad teeth. Did a lot of research about many clinics in different counties but I came back to Dr. Volkan because of the overall and recent reviews I read about his clinic. Dr. Volkan was very helpful, easy to communicate with, speaks very good English, he keeps himself updated with education for the latest techniques, takes his time to answer via WhatsApp and e-mail and explains everything very well! The clinic is not too big, very clean and neat, working staff are friendly and nice. Dr. Volkan and his staff are very educated and professional in his/their work! I spoke to him many times before I made the final decision to go to his clinic since there are so many clinics in Turkey and Istanbul that it is hard for someone to decide where to go. He made me feel very comfortable from the beginning so not hard for me to make a final decision! I had/wanted to get my upper and lower jaw teeth extracted for what I wanted, all on 4 in both jaws. I chose the Astra dental implants because they are a well-known European A brand implants so good quality, also received the original Astra certificates/numbers. I don't like my own teeth on the lower jaw because they are discoloured and ugly which would not match of course with my new all on 4 teeth in the upper jaw when it is finished. Dr. Volkan professionally advised me not to extract my lower jaw teeth since they were still good, stable and not necessary to extract. So in the end I am very happy that I listened to his professional advice so I will keep my own teeth which would be much better in the end according to his advise, most dentists advise this anyway. Now he will be able to place new Zirconium crowns on my own teeth in the lower jaw so everything will match and look all the same and new when all the work is done in the end. During the treatment I did not feel any pain, treatment went very well, smooth and good according the end result. No infections, I had some after pain which is/was normal and durable, swelling which lasted for a few days, all this is normal of course after such a treatment/operation. Aftercare was very good, he invited me a few times to come over to the clinic to check up on everything to see that the healing went ok. The temporary dental fake teeth were measured and prepared during the week I stayed in Istanbul. The fake dental teeth were very nice and good, fitted very well so all that was in order as well. Also the pick-up/ drop off service at the airport and hotel was organised very well and everything on time so also no worries about that! In the end, I am very happy already so far for/with the work that has been done, I paid a good, fair and reasonable price. He was also very understanding in helping people in a good manner to make a good deal for me since he knows all to well that not everybody can afford such high prices that we normally pay in our own countries where dental care is very expensive, at least here in Holland it is ! The same dental work would have cost me something like 12.000.- to 15.000.- Euro in Holland for Astra implants and Zirconium teeth since this is the better and best quality so very expensive. He is not only after the money like most bigger clinics do but wants to deliver good and nice work for the customer for a fair price I reckon and that has to be said here in my review as well I think! I CAN ONLY AND HIGLHY RECCOMEND Dr. VOLKAN TO ANYBODY WHO NEEDS A GOOD DENTIST IN ISTANBUL !! I have to go back in a couple of months in September after healing and when the implants have grown into the bone to get all the final work done and then I have a new smile again 😊 Will update new review after that again to tell about the end result.
