During our visit from Canada to Istanbul our Turkish friend who is a patient of NesbetiyeDent recommended Dr Zeynep Tutal and Dr Ece Sidal to us. We were both apprehensive about having any dental treatments done outside our home country. However, after our initial visit to the clinic my husband and I was very impressed with their professionalism, expertise and decided to start our treatments immediately. My husband had 5 implants, root canals, crowns and bridges plus all the cosmetic work for a great smile. I had crowns and bridges done plus all the work necessary for a perfect outcome. I was wearing full dentures for three months after losing all of my teeth, but I couldn't get used to them, so I started considering getting implant-supported fixed dentures, so I wouldn't have to take them out and could eat and look better. As I was planning a business trip to Istanbul, I began looking for a doctor who specialises in prosthodontics when I discovered Uzmanlar Dental Clinic. I received a free online consultation in which we discussed how many implants I needed and how long the treatment would take. They recommended a few nice hotels, and I booked my hotel and flight. They helped me with getting from Sabiha Gokcen airport in Istanbul to my hotel. Dr. Kodan placed 12 implants in total. I was completely numb and didn't feel any pain or discomfort. After one week in Istanbul, he gave me temporary teeth that were very comfortable and aesthetic, allowing me to eat normally and continue my social life during the three months it will take for implants to be integrated into my bone. After a week, I left Turkey for the UK, returning three months later to receive my final prostheses. They planned my smile makeover digitally and we had some tryouts; the entire treatment was completed after a week, and I'm very pleased with the results. Having been let down badly by my English dentist, after research I selected dis 212 for "all on" implants for both my top and bottom jaws. The price quoted was very good and included all treatment, transfers and accommodation. The service I received from initial consultation, surgery, implants (fitted on the same day as the extractions) temporary replacement teeth, through to the final fitting has been exemplary. Although covid travel restrictions meant that I had to wait longer than usual to complete my treatment. The end result is fantastic - I now have a full smile and self-confidence again. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. From Maria, who was my first contact and main liaison, through to all of the doctors and staff that dealt with my implant treatment, patience, politeness and professionalism were evident at all times.
