Mira Clinic

I had my second visit last week and am extremely happy with the result. Mira Clinic was recommended to me by a friend; however, I also did my own research into other clinics. I read all the reviews of various clinics, and Mira came on top. I had root canal treatments, extractions, sinus lift, Swiss implants, dental veneers and the total cost was around €9000, which is worth every Penny I feel. The minute I made the first contact, the medical consultant answered all my questions and taught me through the process. There were no surprises on arrival; in fact, they exceeded my expectations. Drivers were punctual and courteous, the hotel was comfortable with welcoming staff and located at a convenient distance from the clinic. The clinic itself, starting from the reception bright and clean, the staff were helpful, professional and put me at ease and fluent in several different languages. The dental surgery rooms are so high-tech tech and dentists are thorough and meticulous. The start of the treatment in the second week was rather uncomfortable due to blocked sinuses; however, the subsequent appointments went more smoothly.
I highly recommend Mira Clinic. It gave me back my confidence.

Before coming to Turkey, I conducted extensive research and received treatment plans from over 10–14 dental facilities, primarily in the Istanbul area. Prior to leaving the USA, I arranged in-person consultations with the top 4 clinics from my list.

Mira Dental Clinic was one of those top 4 choices—and my visit exceeded expectations from an American perspective. The clinic was exceptionally clean, well-organized, and the staff were courteous, polite, and welcoming. The facility was equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including advanced X-ray machines, 3D imaging, modern procedure rooms, and well-designed offices.

From the start, I was assigned a medical advisor, David, who stood out for his professionalism. He was efficient, highly knowledgeable about the procedures, easy to communicate with, and always handled our conversations with clarity and care. Out of all the medical advisors I interacted with—both over the phone and in person—David and the Mira team were by far the most professional. Above all, they genuinely *cared* about me as a patient and took their roles seriously throughout the process.

It’s also important to note that I never felt pressured into making a decision or commitment. Mira respected all my preferences, so long as they were medically appropriate and safe.

If you want a detailed review, keep reading. Yes it's long but in alot of detail!

So it all starts off with 100% of the communications being via what's app.
Including my personal consultant David, right down to receiving appointment transfer times while over there.

I wanted my best mate to be with me and I only had to pay for her flights. She was included in the hotel stay which is included in your treatment plan.
I spoke with David almost any time of the day/night. He didn't seem to sleep! Haha
He was fab and answered every question I had. He even advised us of places to visit while was were over there.

Day 1: It was easy to find our transfer from the airport and it was comfy, stylish and private! Just me and my friend. It took us straight to the hotel. We checked into the hotel with no issues and then enjoyed the rest of the evening having a beer at the bar. I received a text from the transfer company that night saying what time I needed to be ready in the hotel lobby for my 1st appointment the next day.

Day 2: The transfer was on time and no complaints. Just a normal taxi-type vehicle this time but private. Once I arrived at the clinic (8-minute drive), I was asked to fill out a form (health questionnaire and personal details). I was called in 5 minutes later for a detailed full mouth x-ray. I'd just like to add, at this point, I hadn't paid them a penny. Not even a deposit. Just paid for my and my friends' flights.
Around 20 minutes later. I was called into a room with who I call 'MrGray' ;)
He talked me through what he recommended, different options I could take and prices with my full x-ray on the big screen.
We finally agreed on my treatment plan! Whoo hooo let's do this!
I was escorted to the payment room where I paid for 100% of my treatment.
15 minutes later, I was called into a dental room and treatment began!!! So quick and efficient.
I was taken back to the hotel in a private taxi and left to rest for the day. From there, you just wait for your next transfer text.

Days 3 - 6. I was contacted randomly with transfer collection times (Picked up, sometimes in luxury vehicle, sometimes not) and taken directly to the clinic for further treatment.
I often had 3 hours straight on the treatment chair. Yes, it was a living hell at the time and not enjoyable AT ALL!
Multiple times I was ready to get up and go home but then knew, I couldn't. I just had to stick at it and be strong!

Towards the end of my treatment, I was asked if I could extend my visit, to which I told them NO and that I told them this when the treatment plan was arranged/agreed.
I was then told my crowns may not be ready in time for my departure home!!!
Well of course, I ended up in the manager's office, crying my eyes out, full face numb and teeth shaved ready for crowns.
I explained my issue to him. He was fabulous. He got straight on the phone. Then got off the phone to tell me they would be ready. He had rushed them through and that they would be ready 2 days before I left the country!! Happy days:D. Thank you Mr boss man.

2nd to last day of my experience:
The second I received my transfer text, I was over the moon, this meant my teeth were ready! I could finally relax!
They were dry-fitted and I could look at them in the mirror. This was the 1st and not the last time I cried with joy!
I signed a statement to say I was happy for them to be cemented in. I had new teeth 🥰

It's now 3 weeks exactly since I returned home with my new teeth and I'm a completely different person. Full of confidence. I have no issues whatsoever and the slight sensitivity I did have, has now gone. My gums have healed over nicely and now it's just fingers crossed the cement lasts as long as they say. Haha.
Yes! I'm eating properly and no! There is no pain. I'm eating steaks with no problems, ice cream with no sensitivity. It's fantastic.

So to finalise my review:

Pros:
Time efficient
Cheap as chips!!!
Reliable
Transfers all included
Not a penny paid until AFTER treatment plan agreed.

Cons:
Some staff's English is really bad. Especially the dentists themselves.
Waiting times can be quite long, sometimes over an hour.

Finally, I highly recommend Mira Clinic to anyone. Any issues, speak with the manager, he will see you right?
