SURGEON
Alptekin Altun was born in 1984 in Dursunbey /
Balikesir. He received the first years of his education in Dursunbey and
completed high school at Balıkkesir Sırrı Yırcalı Anatolian High School. He
started university in Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry and
successfully completed his 5-year education process. In the year he graduated
(2009), he was entitled to a doctorate in the Department of Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgery at Marmara University. At the beginning of his doctorate
education (2011) he founded the Specialist Academy Oral and Dental Health
Polyclinic in Bahçelievler with his friends. While continuing his doctorate
education, he successfully completed Anadolu University Open Education Faculty
of Business Administration and graduated from the second university.
In 2013, he established the second branch of the
Expert Academy Oral and Dental Polyclinic in Yenibosna / Bahçelievler with the
same team. In 2014, he established the Dental Clinic within Istanbul Şafak
Hospital. At the end of 2014, they became a dental group with an expanded
vision and mission, with the addition of his father Mehmet Altun to his
clinical working as a manager. In 2015, he became the scientific consultant of
W&H Dental Devices Company and organized courses. In 2016, the Bakırköy
branch of the Expert Academy Oral and Dental Health Group was opened. Again in
2016, he became the scientific consultant and training director of NDI Medical
Implant systems.
Alptekin Altun, who has publications and presentations
in the field of Maxillofacial Surgery, completed his doctoral education on the
jaw joint and dental volumetric tomography.
Continuing his work at Smart Dent Academy Oral and
Dental Polyclinics as a Maxillofacial Surgery and Implantology specialist, Dr.
Alptekin Altun is married and has 2 children.
