Dr. Med. Dent. Zafer Kanyilmaz was born in Sakarya in 1974. He completed his primary and secondary education in Sakarya,Turkey. He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1996. In the same year, he opened his own private clinic and has served until 2005 at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics as lecturer as well. At the end of his tenure as a lecturer, he obtained the title of Ph.D by completing his doctorate with his doctoral thesis titled “In vivo evaluation of the amount of mercury released from dentin bonding applied or unapplied amalgam restorations”. Dr. Zafer Kanyilmaz hasserved in Gata Haydarpasa Education Hospital, Dental Service in between 2007 -2008 and he still serves in his own private clinic in Erenköy, Kadiköy,Istanbul. Dr. Med. Dent. Zafer Kanyilmaz is married with one child. A photography and cinema fan Dr. ZaferKanyilmaz is a member of IFSAK (Istanbul Photography and Cinema Amateurs Club).
