After landing at the airport, I received a welcome message directing me to the clinic desk, where transfers to the hotel were arranged and my appointment time for the following day was confirmed. The process was smooth and removed all the usual stress of travelling abroad for treatment. An important detail is that the cost of the initial flights is refunded on the second visit once treatment is accepted, which shows real confidence in their work. The clinic’s approach is not fast dentistry — it is precise dentistry. Nothing feels rushed. Everything is checked carefully and they will only proceed when the result is right. From my personal experience, I never felt pain from injections during treatment, which was a major concern before travelling. I was treated here, I had a bone graft to the upper jaw and some fillings done, very professional service, no waiting around, I need to go back to have implants done but ive not got around to it yet, Hungary is beautiful too, I bought land there at the same time as my dentist visit. I had not been to a dentist for many years, due to a very bad experience. After looking around for treatment in England, I was shocked at the cost but more by the attitude of the dentists. By chance I picked up a copy of Metro at the airport as we were going on holiday and read about implants in Turkey etc. This started me looking overseas for treatment , finally settling on Hungary. I approached serval in Budapest and settled on Jokai Dental I sent them a scan I had done in London and they gave me a fairy accurate price for some major work. Extractions, bone grafts and 8 implants to hold new fixed dentures. On arrival my first impression was of a clean, calm relaxed atmosphere. I was extremely nervous and met by the manager Gabor and Dr Laszlo who soon calmed me down. Carefully explaining everything they would be doing The treatment took 3.5 hours under general anesthetic . Temporary teeth were fitted so the implants could take and settle over a few months. Dr Laszlo and his staff were friendly and professional and spoke good English. The second treatment was easier and involved final fitting onto the now solid implants. The whole treatment was virtually pain free although there was some bruising for a few days with the first treatment. The result was amazing .....I could smile without covering my mouth! and eat properly plus become more confident. Excellent value for the money ...my only regret is not finding Jokai Dental a few years earlier .
After losing many veneers over the years that covered teeth damaged by infant antibiotics, I saw Dr. Kunscik get replacements and he recommended six crowns. The colour was a bit white, as he didn't like to work with the grayscale that would have matched better with my other teeth. I've gotten used to them, though, and they look great and are holding strong after more than two years. My local dentist has complimented the work, that Dr Kunscik did for a fraction of the price in his modern, well-located office in central Budapest. Thank you, Dr. Kunscik for giving me teeth that last.
