Gustavo Bastos has a Master degree in Educational Technology in Health (UFRJ) and has published three books in the field of technology applied to dentistry and medicine. His last book dedicated to digital photography in Orthodontics is a best seller in Brazil. Since 2009 Gustavo is a Board Certified Orthodontics, which means that his way of treating patients has been audited and approved by a board of international renowned orthodontists. And to keep up to date with the scientific advances in the orthodontic field he is a: Member of the Brazilian Society of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (SBO); Member of the Brazilian Association of Orthodontics (ABOR); Member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO); Member of the World Federation of Orthodontists. Since we speak English fluently, as well as German,we are able to explain all treatment options and procedures without any concern for misunderstanding. 

Dr. Ingrid Self, DDS, has experience in dental restorations and minor oral surgery. She is an accredited dentist by the Snap-On Smile System and Lumineers in Brazil. She also works with LLLT (Low level laser therapy) in Dentistry. Treating mouth ulcer, herpes, etc.  Fluent in English, Dr. Ingrid Self welcomes patients living or visiting João Pessoa.
