I started researching facelift surgery in 2023. I’ve read through numerous doctors’ profiles and case studies online, and I’ve been searching both overseas and within Chinese communities for the right surgeon. When I came across Dr. Min-Hee Ryu’s facelift cases, I was very impressed by the results. I even spoke online with several of his previous facelift patients, and they all strongly encouraged me to choose Dr. Ryu, saying his surgical skills are outstanding. That prompted me to read some of the professional papers Dr. Ryu had written on deep plane facelift techniques. I also learned that he teaches facial anatomy at one of the most globally renowned institutions, further strengthening my trust in him. Since I live in Canada, booking an in-person consultation wasn’t easy. Fortunately, I was able to receive a very detailed online consultation, which eventually led me to travel to Seoul for the surgery. Dr. Ryu turned out to be just as sincere, professional, and kind as I had hoped. I had many concerns about the surgery, the recovery process, and the potential impact of general anesthesia on my body, so I asked a lot of questions. He patiently answered each one in great detail, which put me at ease. This was also my first time in Seoul, and since I don’t speak Korean, I was worried things might get complicated. But Dr. Ryu’s team was incredibly supportive—they even helped me book accommodations and recommended great restaurants, making my week in Korea a truly enjoyable one. I must admit, I love kimchi a little too much! I ended up eating it almost every day while in Korea, and since it’s quite salty, I experienced some facial swelling. So I would definitely advise future patients to eat more lightly before and after surgery, as salty foods may prolong the recovery process. Even so, I’m already very satisfied with the results of the procedure, and I’m really looking forward to seeing the final outcome after one to three months of full recovery. Dr. Ryu is truly the best!

Hi, I'm currently living in Hong Kong. I want to share my first rhinoplasty at Hyundai Aesthetics. Before the surgery, my nose was not beautiful but it was quite good. It just wasn't as high as I wanted, and it made my overall facial appearance somehow outdated. I had never undergone any cosmetic surgery before, so I was quite nervous. However, the nose surgery was not as painful as I thought. I only felt difficult when breathing after 12 hours of surgery. I couldn't sleep because I had to breathe through my mouth lol. I had the surgery at 10 a.m., and at 10 a.m. the next day, I went to the hospital for swelling treatment. After removing two cotton balls (maybe? Idk) inside my nose, then I could breathe more easily. I'm not very satisfied with the hospital because it's quite small and lacks many therapeutic tools to help reduce swelling and bruising. They only provided an ice pad, a laser light and oxygen therapy. And their staff responds to messages very slowly!!!. Last, they only have 1-2 English-speaking staff, so it's quite inconvenient. And the price they offered is affordable. After returning to Hong Kong, I asked them to send me my before and after photos. Honestly, I am about 80% satisfied with the surgery.
