I recently underwent cosmetic surgery with Dr. Yoo and I cannot express enough how incredible the entire experience was. From start to finish Dr. Yoo and his team went above and beyond my expectations, delivering care and attention that truly exceeded anything I imagined. The most powerful and positive memory of my surgery is the extraordinary caring service that Debora, the English-speaking surgical coordinator gave to me. Debora gave me supportive and caring individualized attention. She always made me feel like I am her one and only priority and nothing is ever a bother, no matter how many questions and how many times I ask her the same questions…brain fog after the surgery? Prior to my surgery, I was extremely nervous, as expected. Debora took the time to explain how every step of this process will be, what to expect before, during and after surgery, constantly reassuring me and checking in on me. My surgery lasted about 8 hours and it was clear that Dr.Yoo and the team came in fresh, focused, and ready to deliver exceptional results. They were professional, skilled and compassionate every step of the way. The day after my surgery and for the next four weeks, I went to the clinic every day for the de-swelling laser which is included with the surgery And every day Debora took her time to be by my side helping me with my questions, giving me the reassurance and encouragement that I really needed the first two weeks post-surgery. She also gave me tips and tricks to help my recovery process. I’m absolutely thrilled with my results and I’m looking forward to coming back in September for the second procedure of the eye-pop surgery….stay tuned for more detailed updates. I strongly recommend you contact Dr. Ryu. He gave me a complete extended deep-plane facelift, deep neck lift, lower eyes, forehead lift, and fat grafting. All done in one day. He also used st*m cell injections which I strong recommend, which is approved in Korea but not available in the U.S. I am convinced it accelerated my recovery time. His deep plane facelift provides much more correction than a normal one, and will last significantly longer. Though a much more extreme procedure, his technique allowed for minimal bruising and amazingly fast recovery! Look at me after one week! Minor bruising and only some swelling. I was out of my compression bandage after three days. I also had very little pain. As an aside, thanks to my necklift, my sleep apnea is pretty much cured! That was an unexpected benefit. The aftercare was incredible. I challenge anyone to show me one clinic that would do all this in the U.S. Every day for two weeks post-surgery, I received hyperbaric treatments, detailed checking of sutures, light therapy, prompt suture removal when healed, and constant attention and endless patience with my many questions. I want to stress that this is a boutique clinic. Many of the big Korean clinics are basically factories and work on volume. This place is all about top-quality results and individual service. They might be a little more expensive, but it is really worth it. Some of you may wonder about the language and cultural barrier. Please do not worry about this clinic. Prior to surgery, a consultant corresponded with me for some weeks, answering all my questions with incredible patience and precision. Post surgery, the lady (literally) at my side at all times was actually a Korean from the US. She spoke perfect English, was incredibly caring and attentive, made absolutely sure my questions were answered, and that I knew what was going on. Also, Dr. Ryu knows some English, and is delightfully helpful without fail. He enjoys talking about his procedures and will help you to his utmost, and his translator made sure no question or concern went unanswered. I have to say this is a kind of emotional post for me. This man is a consummate professional and his staff are incredibly caring and competent. I feel like they have done more for me than any health care professionals I have ever encountered. Hi, I'm currently living in Hong Kong. I want to share my first rhinoplasty at Hyundai Aesthetics. Before the surgery, my nose was not beautiful but it was quite good. It just wasn't as high as I wanted, and it made my overall facial appearance somehow outdated. I had never undergone any cosmetic surgery before, so I was quite nervous. However, the nose surgery was not as painful as I thought. I only felt difficult when breathing after 12 hours of surgery. I couldn't sleep because I had to breathe through my mouth lol. I had the surgery at 10 a.m., and at 10 a.m. the next day, I went to the hospital for swelling treatment. After removing two cotton balls (maybe? Idk) inside my nose, then I could breathe more easily. I'm not very satisfied with the hospital because it's quite small and lacks many therapeutic tools to help reduce swelling and bruising. They only provided an ice pad, a laser light and oxygen therapy. And their staff responds to messages very slowly!!!. Last, they only have 1-2 English-speaking staff, so it's quite inconvenient. And the price they offered is affordable. After returning to Hong Kong, I asked them to send me my before and after photos. Honestly, I am about 80% satisfied with the surgery.
