During your treatment, the laser will aim a gentle beam of light at your hair follicles. The pigment in your hair follicle will absorb the light and heat, disabling hair growth and preventing it from ever returning. Intense pulsed light (IPL) technology works in a similar way to lasers. However, instead of just one beam of light, IPL releases multiple wavebands of light (like a photo flash) to stun your hair follicles, causing your unwanted hairs to fall out naturally.
