Initially concerned about travelling abroad for surgery but one of the best things I ever did. I was on a slippery slope into health problems because of my out of control weight, I tried all the diets but they never worked. 3 months and 3 stone down, the hospital was efficient and very clean. Staff were really attentive and I didn't want for anything. My surgeon was amazing was always checking in on me. He even made sure my husband who accompanied me didn't go without anything either. Exceeded expectations on every level! I'm going back in a few months to thank my surgeon Süleyman Akilli.

In the second stage, the small intestine is counted 150-200 cm from the beginning of the small intestine and the small intestine is combined with the newly formed small stomach so that we have seen in this surgical technique the absorption-limiting effect. It is an effective technique that is preferred also for metabolic diseases such as type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol and blood pressure which are caused by excessive weight gain while the patient has regular and adequate weight loss after surgery.

Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy is the most commonly used method in the treatment of obesity. The operation allows the stomach to take the shape of a tubular tube extending through the small curvature. The avarage volüme of the stomach is about 150 – 200 cc. There are 2 weight loss mechanism in this surgery; restrictive and hormonal effect. Feeling of satiety with little food after vertically collapsing the stomach is a restrictive effect. The hormonal effect is the loss of appetite with reduced release of the ghrelin hormone produced by the cells in the fundus, which is the upper part of the stomach. After the operation, the patients lose about 65-70% of their excess weight in about 12 months.One of the greatest advantages of operation of the tube gastric (sleeve gastrectomy) is that there is no problem in the intake of vitamins and minerals since there is no operation that affects the absorption.

I had bulbous nose and my surgery had in May 2023. Dr Bahitten is very professional I’m really satisfied with the results. The hospital was clean and tidy and the staff was very friendly & helpful. Ideal for solo travellers. The package was responsible too. Please ask for medical documents before leaving the hospital cause on Airport you can be ask for your reports. I highly recommend this Hospital.
