Clinic Center Weight Loss Clinic

The hospital staff/nurses and surgeons were fantastic. My surgeon had good English and thoroughly talked to me. He visited me after surgery and the next 2 days while I was in hospital. Highly recommend the surgeon.

My issues were around The Clinic Centre and all they promised to get the sale. It started with waiting 1hr 15 mins for transfer when we landed in Istanbul (husband had a hair transplant so they made savings as transfers were included in his price too) and ended up having to get our own taxi however we are asked to wait patiently for 10 min…. No apology. Did get €30 taxi money back after asking twice.

My price included ‘£600 recovery package - vitamins, protein, fitness app, nutritionist’ but I had to pay €60 for medication leaving hospital, including vitamins and protein.

Also, I had ibuprofen in my medication which is anti-inflammatory not a pain killer and not recommended after any surgery never mind gastric surgery. I don’t believe the Surgeon prescribed this and I scored it out saying I didn’t want it. My host insisted I did need it. Luckily I had my own liquid paracetamol (Calpol) with me. I don’t have details of any nutritionist and no sign of the fitness app.
Hair transplant - no issue but the hotel had no WiFi for 4 days so he had to pay £6.50 a day for data roaming, in 2023 who doesn’t have WiFi?! We had 2 single beds. Got moved to a double room that smells like sewers.

Considering medical tourism is a huge market in Turkey I do not recommend the Clinic Centre. They weren’t the cheapest place I spoke to and I feel like I could have had a better service from another company unfortunately and probably cheaper too.

Very satisfied with the service. Special thanks to my surgeon Mr. Balta. He was very calm and professional throughout the whole process. Apart from his expertise, he definitely knows everything about patient psychology.

Clinic Center has changed my life...

Two years ago I had a gastric sleeve operation with these guys. It was a really tough decision to make which I've been thinking about for years. When I finally decided that this is the right call for me I came across them online. In the beginning, I still had this fear and concern and all that questions cruising inside of my head but thanks to their help and support I decided to go ahead in peace.

I had gastric sleeve surgery with Clinic Center 6 months ago and it was one of the best decisions I made! From the moment I contacted them they were really professional, they made me feel at ease by answering all of my questions and giving me lots of information. It was so easy to schedule my surgery with them. When me and my wife arrived in Istanbul they picked us up from the airport and bring us to a very nice hotel.

Once I came back home Clinic Center's aftercare team contacted me to check up on my recovery. I was about 330lbs before I had the surgery and I lost 42lbs in 6 months which makes me feel amazing. I had gastric sleeve operation at Clinic Center last March. I had a lot of hesitation to have this operation for years, but finally I decided to have the operation with Clinic Center.
