⭐ Hospital Review — My Experience I recently stayed at this hospital for surgery, and I wanted to share my honest experience — the good, the funny, and the bits that nearly had me crying into my drip stand. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely caring. I landed at 3 am and by 8 am they had me through every test imaginable — heart checks, X‑rays, blood tests, dietary, anaesthetic, surgeon consultations. Efficient doesn’t even cover it. My surgeon and the team were brilliant. Surgery took around two hours, recovery was smooth, and I felt well looked after throughout. A special shout‑out to Nart, who kept me entertained with history lessons and made the whole process feel less daunting. There were a few comedy moments — like my drain being pulled out by accident and my buzzer not working, leaving me nearly wetting the bed while I dragged my drip stand across the room like a wounded giraffe. But even then, the nurses were quick to help once they realised. They work incredibly hard.

The nurses at Termessos are empathetic and highly skilled. I had zero pain from cannulation, to the bloods to incision care. They are a friendly and exceptionally hard working team. The hospital is big and spacious. The private room exceeded my expectations. All this was possible thanks to CatchLife Obesity. Tunahan was my coordinator and no question went unanswered he was available on hand at the drop of a text and call for any queries I had. Tunahan is incredibly informative, helpful and courteous and he made sure everything ran smoothly from the airport transport to my discharge. Arina at CatchLife was my field coordinator she was incredibly supportive and put me at ease through my tests and surgery. She has the biggest heart and instantly makes you feel you have known her a life time. Arina made sure I had everything I needed along with her colleague Wemma. Wemma greeted me at the airport with the friendliest welcome and the driver was so helpful. I would highly recommend CatchLife for the gastric sleeve as my experience has been nothing but exceptional. The standards, service and experience surpass any treatment I have recieved in the UK. I had my surgery in July and had a great experience with Dr. Süleyman Akıllı, I went with him after being recommended from 2 of my friends who couldn’t speak highly enough of him and they were right. I was very anxious and emotional when I arrived and he made me feel at ease. I have now lost 5 stone and feel the best I have felt in years.
