Our service is grounded in a thorough knowledge of brain injury and a sensitive understanding of the psychological effects. The services available also include psychological treatment of depression, anxiety, and anger-related problems to patients without brain injury.  We will put your needs first and this is reflected in the service. The clinic is non-hospital based, very quiet, confidential, and comfortable. It has facilities for relaxing before or after appointments. With a cafe, dining room and gardens everything will make your visit as relaxing as possible. You will be contacted directly by the Consultant to make an appointment. Home visits can be arranged too. You will never feel rushed as we do not book people in without a space afterwards. The Consultant has over 15 years experience in psychology, most in neurological conditions. She specialises in head injury and is registered with the Health Professions Council.  If we feel our service is not suitable we will redirect you. But the service is highly individual and geared to the needs of patients, with individual treatment programmes. The service is intensive, can be long-term or just a few sessions, as needed. We realise most people contact a psychologist in some distress or with concerns and will quickly help you to feel comfortable and safe.  Opening hours 9.30-5.30,Mon-Fri, or 10am-1pm on Saturdays. Stepping Stones is set in tranquil surroundings within the small town of Clevedon, offering a safe confidential space to discuss your issues Hypnotherapy has been shown to be very effective in treating a variety of different issues. In order to assess how we can most effectively help you, you will be invited to an initial consultation, which will take around 90 minutes. This will give you the chance to talk through the difficulties you are experiencing and also have the opportunity to experience a light hypnotic trance. We will then work together to devise an effective treatment plan.
