Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Treatment UK

I have been working with Ruairi for about 7 months and just recently finished up with my sessions and I’ve been finding it hard to put into words just how much he has helped me... I have always struggled with anxiety, low self-esteem, experienced repeated patterns of burn out. I always felt there was something intrinsically wrong with me in how I couldn’t navigate life as easily as others around me. Ruairi has helped me understand how experiences of grief, trauma, my childhood and past relationships have impacted how I have been showing up for myself. I was a chronic people pleaser, and perfectionist and never considered my needs as importantly as others to the point that I didn’t even know who I was anymore. I was chronically stressed, convinced I was on my way to a chronic health condition or a nervous breakdown and I had completely lost myself in a toxic relationship. In the past I had tried multiple times to start therapy but could never find the right person to work with. At our first meeting, I cried uncontrollably but felt so relieved to have someone who would listen with patience and without judgement. Ruairi is so genuine and I immediately felt safe. He helped me understand the impact of complex trauma, how it was stored in my body and to understand myself with more compassion. He empathised with and understood my situation and never judged me, importantly teaching me not to judge myself. I knew that the relationship I was in had to end but didn’t feel I was able to leave and I didn’t think I would ever be able to cope. My world was falling apart. Ruairi helped me to build my confidence and see myself as someone who deserved better and was resourced enough to deal with the challenges of the separation. He helped me to break away and handle myself in a way that I am so proud of. As well as our weekly sessions he was just a message away. When I hit a really difficult bump in the road he helped me work through the anxiety I was feeling about my ex moving on. Ruairi taught me the importance of self-compassion and self-love and always challenged me to look at the narratives I have been telling myself based on my past experiences. He has given me so many tools and helped me understand how to work with my brain and not against it. I honestly feel like a different person, I feel lighter, I feel like I am no longer weighed down with the weight of the grief and trauma I had been carrying around. I have so much confidence and excitement for my future. The work I have done with Ruairi has helped me to be a better mum and person. Not only changing my life but my daughter’s lives by giving them the best version of their mum. I can’t thank Ruairi enough for helping me to heal, I feel like he has helped me to get my life back. The support Ruairi provides is so much more than talking therapy, he is so knowledgeable and takes a holistic approach to supporting healing with advice on routine, supplements, meditation, reading and so much more. I can only describe the techniques he used to help me process trauma and build my confidence as powerful and I honestly believe the work has changed my life!

I arrived at 12:30 left at 1:40 pm the physio explained everything to me he treated me for my problem. The service was 100% I would definitely recommend to everyone who got a problem to go there you won’t be disappointed I’ve been to many physios over the years and I must say this one is the best.
